Last month, one of the biggest dreams of my life became reality.
Together with some of my closest friends, we bought a big house in the Märkische Schweiz to start our community housing project. 💛🏡

You know these moments when a long-held dream suddenly becomes real? Yet it didn’t arrive with a big bang? It grew slowly. Through countless conversations, orga meetings, hesitations, reality checks… are we really doing this? ✨

🎢 This journey took 2.5 years. A first big vision at @wirbauenzukunft . Almost joining another project (that collapsed last minute). Grieving, regrouping, and finding the courage and energy to dream again.
In January 2025 we created a new shared vision during a Dragon Dreaming session. Two months later, we found our house. What followed was a rollercoaster of emotions and learning: legal structures, finances, weekly orga meetings, weekends filled with plans—and many, many feelings.
And here’s why I trust this will work:
🧭 We never lost sight of why we’re doing this. Of the deep longing behind the dream and simply the joy of really wanting to live together.
🎁 We learned to (mostly ;-) ) stay in the energy of gifting our time instead of counting who does what. Because who are we kidding it will never be "fair".
🍥 We kept trusting our emergent, flowy way of organizing. And when capacity dropped or tensions rose, we found our way back with humor, check-ins, sharing circles, hugs, or the permission to pause.

For me, this is more than a project: It’s an intentional choice to center my life around deep friendships, creativity, and care. It’s about building a place that invites connection in a world that feels increasingly polarized. A place that can also contribute to the neighborhood. This project brings together everything I believe in: collective visioning, co-creation, authentic living beyond the script, and local action that transforms communities from the inside out. And also just joy!
I’m so curious and excited for what’s next. And deeply grateful for these people co-creating not just a project, but a shared life.💛 by @bo_marta

For 38 weeks, I was one with a little being that chose me to be her mother, a being I created and nourished from my own flesh. I remembered thinking: „thank god it takes 9 months, I have time to get used to her, to transform in what is being asked of me“. And indeed I realised - and this is still true - I became ready for all the little steps at their own time, and not a moment earlier. During these 38 weeks I learned so much about mySelf: about constructs I have on motherhood, bodies, ablism to name a few. And I was more magnetic than ever before- attracting love, generosity and infecting others with the joy of seeing an unapologetic pregnant body doing what it wanted to do. The 3rd trimester was also a time of winter, of managing expectations of others so that I could do what was true to Me, of pain, sleepless nights and a change of birth plan last minute. A reminder that I am not really in control and calling me to let goooo just.on.time. I called on the women on my side to support me and let myself receive more love, joy and support than I will ever describe. I tapped into my tribe who felt my baby move in a cuddle puddle of birthed and unbirthed beings, I went on a nourishing baby moon with my love and celebrated our partnership journey that was about to change forever. Letting go allowed me to be ready for the 38 hour birth that was not my dream birth, but was absolutely the birth I prepared for. A few weeks ago marked 38 weeks of Tilly in this world, a time mirror that we celebrated together with a harvesting celebration Lammas. This year I got to celebrate the love and commitment I have to a future with Tobi. We vowed to each other, we sang, we hugged, we walked the life, we meditated together with our guests, we danced , we cried. Nothing prepared me for the love I felt that day not only for Tobi but for all the family and friends who co-created the day and made us feel so alive. So grateful. Also super grateful to my sis @joaninha.oliveira for all the planning and help when I was away and @pedrobastosoliveira inúmeros friends and family also @casadaribeiraeventos where we did it and Maria @atelier.memoria for the beautiful pics and @wheatandrose for the super comfy and gorgeous dress by @bo_marta

When I travel alone it’s never just “easy” nor “amazing”, but it’s always right (the two times I did it anyway). After some weeks, I leave my protective amalfian 🌊 bubble with a full heart 💙. This is from 2 different hikes between Positano and Amalfi. by @bo_marta
