The Colorado Board Life fam is coming to Jacksonville to play - including co-founder and bestie @mistymilsterforde along with the beautiful @sidestancesociety . So you already know we’re bringing some extra love, extra energy, and a whole lot of stoke to the Block.

Board Life Project has officially kicked off in Jacksonville, and we’re feeling pretty damn grateful.

Thank you to the humans of The Block Skate Supply for sharing your space with us, and thank you to every lady who shared her time, her energy, and a little bit of her night with us.

We skated, we ate, we laughed, and we left with new friends and plans to do it again.

There’s something pretty special about building something new with beautiful humans. We’re excited to see where this goes.

And if you couldn’t make it last night, this night is for you, too. Come join us next time.

Thank you @anythinklibraries ! This is our favorite time of year getting to skate with you. What an incredible two days with the kiddos. LADIES NIGHT IS HERE!!!

October 1 • 6–8 PM
The Block Skate Supply

We’re kicking off the very first Ladies Night at The Block, and we’re building this one together.

Whether you’ve never stepped on a skateboard, you’re learning, or you already skate and just want a group of ladies to skate with - come hang. Every age. Every skill level. Everyone is welcome.

The Block is opening up their private skate park, I’ll be bringing a lil food to share and there will be unlimited high fives because obviously.

And if your thing is photography or filming, or any of the creative magic that surrounds skateboarding - we’d love to have you there too. Someone’s gotta capture those special moments.

The goal is pretty simple: show up, have some fun, meet some new ladies, grab a bite to eat, try something new, and maybe leave with a little more confidence and a few new skate memories.

Bring your positive vibes, your willingness to try, and let’s build something together.

THE WULFDOWN BODEGA IS COMING TO MURRAY HILL!!!

I’m so incredibly excited to finally share this one…
Wulfdown Bodega is coming to the Murray Hill Market!

Starting September 9th, you can find me every other Wednesday from 5–8 pm at Fishweir Brewing in Murray Hill, bringing the bodega and a whole lot of love.

But what makes this feel extra special to me is that a portion of every Wulfdown sale will go right back into feeding our community through @board_life_project which is a part of my 🤍

Because food has always been about so much more than food for me. It’s connection. It’s gathering around a table. It’s showing up for each other. It’s making sure people feel welcome and cared for.

And now I get to bring that piece of Wulfdown into a space where so many good things are already happening.
I am SO excited for all the community love to collide and see the magic that happens!

Some of my favorite days don’t involve an event, a plan, or a big crowd.

They start with, “Tía... will you take us skateboarding “🤍

Every single time, my answer is yes.

Watching my nieces, nephews, my sister-in-law, and even the neighbor kid all pile in because they want to skate together fills my heart in a way that’s hard to put into words.

Skateboarding was one of the greatest gifts my dad ever gave me. It wasn’t just a board, it was confidence, freedom, creativity, resilience, and a community that always had room for one more.

Now I get to share that same gift with them.

No pressure. No expectations. Just rolling around, laughing when we fall, celebrating the little wins, and making memories together.

This is what it’s all about.

Here’s to more “Take me skateboarding , Tía” days. I hope I never stop hearing those taken in Jacksonville, Florida by @board_life_project

Round two at the skatepark and this time the fellas showed up ready to roll.

Everyone meet Dell and Julian, our brother and nephew, who rolled in with Jojo and absolutely crushed it. No fear, just full send energy and the kind of stoke that makes your heart grow three sizes.

Julian wasted no time getting after it, and Jojo was right there beside him doing what kids do best… trying, falling, laughing, getting back up, and sending it again.

But the real gift today was watching my brother. Parents who step in, try the thing, wobble a little, and show their bravery right alongside their kids? That’s the magic. That’s how confidence gets built. That’s how community grows 🤍

Safe spaces, brave parents, fearless kids, and a whole lot of heart on four wheels.

Okay everyone… meet Jojo. 🤍

And let me just say, watching your niece find her stoke? Different level of special.

The bravery. The wipeouts. The “did you see that?!” moments. The tiny progress that feels HUGE. We get to watch it all in real time and it will never get old. Ever!

This right here is our why.
Not just skateboarding. Not just meetups. But watching young humans light up when they realize, “oh… I can do this.” Watching confidence grow one push at a time. That’s the good stuff. That’s the foundation.

And when that human happens to be your niece?
Yeah… it hits a little deeper.

Community starts close to home. It starts with showing up. It starts with cheering loud and meaning it.

So proud of you, Jojo.

If you thought we were done building… NOPE!!!
From the mountains to the beaches, this journey taught me what community really means, and now it’s time to build it where I learned it first: home.

Day 3 on a surfboard 🌊
Still not good. Still having an absolute blast.
Turns out, you’re never too old to try something new… or to wipe out in front of strangers while laughing hysterically. 😂
There’s something wildly freeing about being a total beginner — falling, flailing, and still smiling huge the whole time. Sucking at something fun? Highly underrated.
Big love to my adorable hubby for always capturing the chaos and cheering me on from behind the lens 💕
And a huge shoutout to @jesstilbess — truly the most fun person to learn a sport with. We might not be shredding yet, but we’re definitely winning!

What an amazing three days of camp!
Camp is truly our favorite time of the year — full of energy, growth, and stoke. We’re incredibly grateful to @anythinklibraries , all the skaters and their families who joined us and took part in learning, progressing, and building community through skateboarding.
