Hasn’t outdone Men Nefer for me , but boy is this one a blast.

Yes the rulebook is as weak as the say, but it’s not nearly as heavy as I was expecting. Beware though, the combos get longggg.

Makes me want to try Bitoku as well.

Covenant is a beautiful beast for sure!

Game night this week was a brain burning session of Lisboa.

Just play a card from your hand and do a thing…That’s your turn, right??? 😭😂

Such an elegant game.

Zenlike and stress inducing all at once, we started off slowly to get our bearings. We were feeling our way through the opening turns, but by the time we reached the second half of the game, it was getting pretty zippy.

Our engines were starting to roll and we were pulling off some pretty fun stuff- by the end of the game we were craving for more.

I feel like that sums up the best of Lacerda.

What seems daunting at the beginning always leaves you wanting more at the end…

And that’s why Lisboa is just a brilliant, beautiful, classic.

And those cute 3D buildings!!!

Great session of On Mars last night…as usual I used a couple of @heavycardboard playthroughs to get prepped for it.

Have to say despite the weight, this one was super smooth out the gate!

That leaves Vinhos, Co2 & Inventions to try… taken in Concord, Massachusetts by @boardgametemple
