SOUTHBROOM There is a difference between ego surfing and connection surfing. Two surfers stood out from the rest because they dug deeper, pushed past the turmoil, and returned to fundamentals. The bigger the splash, the bigger the reward is an outdated mindset. Why we've had national and international champions since 2008 is because we prioritize determination over perfection. I didn't know either of the two surfers at the start of this edit, but I know they both have world champion potential.
