“917 Wolf Pack” Gouache on 20X40 Canvas. The Porsche 917 was a legendary rocket of endurance racing in the 1970s, dominating the 24 Hours of Le Mans with Speed, Durability & Strategy

With so many iconic liveries and versions to choose from, I picked my top four. Blue Gulf, red Salzburg, white Martini & chunky Pink Pig.

I started this with acrylic paint but switched to rare smooth gouache paint—my first time using it since Art Center over 25 years ago. This one was a slow slugfest but too dumb and stubborn to quit.

Cool fun projects are inbound for 2025! Reminder: We all have no time to waste..let’s get sh$t moving

-Crazy it’s been almost 10 years since I was on the team for the once-in-a-lifetime Toyota FT-1 concept car project unveiled at the 2014 Detroit auto show.
Thankfully my dad was finally able to see the actual red car many months later at OC Cars&Coffee. He died in 2016 so he was never able to see the 2020 Supra hit the road, which he was eagerly anticipating.

-We are motivated to accomplish many things just to simply make our family & friends proud. But don’t forget to be proud of your own accomplishments and don’t keep them in the shadows because you fear what a few people might think. Fu&k them.

-Mr. Time sometimes cuts you breaks, but usually he’s an asshole that stops for no one!

Porsche Guild of Artists
Collaboration #1

On August 23, 2026 I published an article and made a post speculating about creating a Guild of artists that have a fondness for Porsches. I originally titled it the “Porsche Guild of Artists” . Out of the six artists that I tagged and outlined in the article four responded with thanks and enthusiasm.

One of the artists, John “Swede” Strell of Swede Studios USA, suggested we do a group collaboration post. The idea was to pick a reference photo (see last slide) and have each of the artists interpret it in their style. No rules. There are no rules in art.

The first four GOPA artist in collaboration are:

For my interpretation, I chose to focus on the fragment of the car that I felt best captures its unique personality and character.

My goal was to impart a strong sense of motion, light, and color—to really capture the spirit and energy of this amazing subject piece.

I hope you all enjoy it! I’m really looking forward to seeing everyone’s work and, eventually, sharing our collective effort together.

This simple digital illustration captures the green 964 with a vignette of one of the very photogenic buildings that serve as backdrops for the monthly EASY Porsche meet-up that has been meeting on the first Saturday of the month for about 40 years.

Our summer interns, Marco @marco_lusso_ and Brandon @bchen.design both from ArtCenter College of Design, really pushed the envelope of creativity! Marco designed a high-speed Toyota GR performance truck, while Brandon took luxury to crazy new heights with a huge futuristic flying Toyota Century. Both put a ton of hard work and guts into their projects, and it really shows. Took a while, but here is an art project I always wanted to attempt. This is an initial run of my “foot mobile art pieces” or limited-edition screen printed t-shirts.

This project’s been a huge learning experience on the possibilities & techniques from hand sketched digital art to screen printing. Big thank you to Sy and the team @rideofftrack they put in real time and effort to make sure these came out right.
