'Ello everyone! We are really hyped to support another Recycle Night at Gretchen! They invited no other than TECHNIMATIC (UK) & imo-LU (UK), as well as LadyBird, N'Dee and the MCs LowQui and Jamie White. @recycle.berlins.finest.dnb So, we will roll out some heavy low-end-beauty in Box 2! ☄ We are celebrating the double birthday of BobaVeD, our favourite bass-twins and Co-founders of Rooted. Therefore we invited some very special selectas, who will kick your asses serving a wider range of blips and wobs this time - going from house and dancehall through some UK garage wobbles. Later we will dive deeper into the cave of broken beats, dubstep, grime and some more experimental, leftfield sounds. Hellou bassheads! As the year 2026 was kicking off with bad and crazy news already, we are more than happy to bring some good ones to the table. The fourth edition of our mixtape series is celebrating release day and it is our biggest pleasure to have @bobaved on dem decks!! The twins are co-founding members of our little crew and for BTB they crafted a very colourful and juicy set, that should easily blast away all the winter-grey-ness and might move your booties pretty well. We also had a little chat, the whole interview on the next slides. Set is on soundcloud - have a listen, leave some love if you feel like it. And: Biggest thank yous to Leo and Konsti for contributing tasty blops to our series. Love ♡ by @bobaved

Ello peeps! We're back and hope you're hungry, because we have some snackos ready for you: ●●● CHIPS & SEKT ●●● These two nuttahs are joining forces to open the first ROOTED session. If you dont know what their sound tastes like, let us give you a little insight on the Chips and the Sekt. 1/2 of C&S you might know already: 1989 born Kite from berlin, who founded berlins fithiest dubstep crew called antibling:promassive & is also a part of bassfieber & mach one, is now up for mashups & bass music. Then, as the bubble doesnt work without the crunch, Kite will be accompanied by Matryoschka. She is an upcoming player in berlins underground and loves to keep the party going with filthy wobs - juggling rhythm patterns and subgenres through the spheres of bass. They both know each other since over a decade now and are equally passionate about music. You might feel this, when they share the decks. So come early and shake dem booties ♡ @und_kite •●• @matry0schka taken in Club GRETCHEN by @bobaved

●●● G I V E A W A Y ●●● Yo, cuties! Trees are setting up with a nice colour palette, but the spheres of grey are also taking over berlin... Maybe we can sprinkle some good vibes into your day with our little giveaway. ●●● CHECK SLIDE 2 ●●● On 25 October we are taking over the legendary Box 2 at our beloved Gretchen. We curated a colourful & tasty programme to keep you skankin till the early mornin! and some little surprises here n there :) Box 1 will be delivering a heavy drumnbass lineup, put together by yours truly @recycle.berlins.finest.dnb ♡ So, more than enough reasons not to miss this one. WE CAN'T WAIT TO DANCE WITH ALL OF YOU! We are also well aware that going out has become something, which isnt affordable to everyone anymore. At the same time promoters and artists can hardly survive with the hustle of keeping culture and nightlife accessible, but also making a living out of it. And especially in these days, some cheerful nights where we can come together are needed more than ever. So here is your chance to get free entry for you and your +1, as well as one of our pretty ROOTED-bags! Ears up everybuddy, we got another little treat for you! Well, acutally 'little' is not the best wordy fit, when speaking about the next artist for our session at Gretchen: ●●● DJ HOT WLAN ●●● We are super happy to have no other than DJ HOT WLAN with us! Born and raised in berlin, she is a true underground pioneer playing drum'n'bass since she is a teenager! Back in the days her first gig was is the legendary youth club ALL, dropping tunes directly from her MP3 player. Today she loves to combine filthy jungle & energetic drumnbass sprinkled with some cheesy vocals here n there. Always fast, always danceable, always creating peak-moments - consider her making the dancefloor burn. Known for her flawless selections, you might have probably heard her already - perhaps at your art professors vernissage, sensus festival, MIT DIR or maybe fusion. We are also really proud to call DJ HOT WLAN a member of our little growing bass family ♡ and recommend you strongly to put on your dancing shoes on 25 october - for quick n crispy breaks and loads of vibes. instagram: @hot_wlan soundcloud: DJ HOT WLAN taken in Club GRETCHEN by @bobaved

Who let the wobs out?! Hola, everyone. The Rooted fam is ready to announce the next troublemakers for our sesh at Gretchen at the end of the month: ●●● BOBAVED ●●● The two boyz are returning to their homebase: Gretchen. In these legendary halls - where massive sounds, an incredible artist curation by the owners and their team, and the overall groundedness let every basshead flourish and enjoy all aspects of (bass) music since many years - these two badmen will put dem levelz up on 25 october with a juicy closing, pushing the deepest basslines. You can expect the unexpected - genre switches and surprises in a wild, yet harmonic set. You really shouldnt miss dis! If you wanna have an aperitivo of their vibes, check out their mixes up in the cloud. The twins are also co-founding members of our little crew and we really couldnt be more grateful to have these heavy selectas (and most of all: sweethearts ♡) in our team! Heya out there, its ya rooted fam again. Getting pretty fresh outside, so we better drop some hot news with our next artist, huh? ●●● ANTON QUASI ●●● Speaking about freshness, there is one nuttah in this town that we really would not wanna miss for our session in october! We are super happy to announce that no other than Anton Quasi, resident DJ at VOID Club and label owner of Stoic Music, will spin some vinyls for you cuties. Anton Quasi has been in the Drum & Bass scene since 2018. He's always collected vinyl, mostly Hip-Hop and Drum & Bass of course. In 2024 however he also started getting some UK Garage tunes on the "black gold", a genre that's found its way back into the clubs in the UK in recent years after peaking back in the 90s. The new names to watch out for are Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase or Soul Mass Transit System, to name a few and if you like that, you should definitely not miss his vinyl set in Gretchen's Box 2 on 25.10.2025. He is a passionate selecta, always proving his taste with the most delicate soundz and a proper connection to his crowd. Absolutely gassed to have you on board! instagram: @anton_quasi soundcloud: @anton_quasi linktree: linktr.ee/anton_quasi taken in Club GRETCHEN by @bobaved
