I heard this riff on social media and couldn’t get it out of my head. Thought it would sound good on my EWI as a cello, so adapted the general theme of it for this Reel. Hope you enjoy it! #ewi #cello #strymon #saturday taken in Fish Hawk, Florida by @bobberoni

I asked Chat GPT to write a melancholy cello poem and it took all of 15 seconds to write this:

In the dim of dusk, the cello weeps,
Its somber tones, a secret it keeps,
With every note, a tear unshed,
Echoing sorrow, in strings it embeds.

The bow caresses, with gentle grace,
Yet, beneath the surface, a mournful trace,
Each melody, a tale untold,
Of heartaches endured, of dreams grown cold.

Lonely nights, and silent days,
The cello laments, in sorrow’s haze,
Its melancholy song fills the air,
A haunting requiem, for all to bear.

In the depths of sadness, it finds its home,
With every chord, it cries alone,
For the broken souls, and shattered dreams,
The cello weeps, in silent streams.

Yet, in its sorrow, there lies a spark,
A glimpse of beauty, in the dark,
For through its tears, it finds release,
In the solace of its mournful peace.
