In this clip, I sit down with James Murray and ask him:

What’s one punishment that genuinely kept you up the night before filming… or has stuck with you over the years?

@therealmurr dives into one specific punishment that STILL follows him to this day and the way the guys continue to mess with him about it years later is absolutely hilarious. You can tell some bits never really end when you’re part of the Jokers brotherhood 😂

If you grew up watching the show like I did, this one hits different.

Do you agree with @bqquinn @impracticaljokersofficial ?? 😆😆

🎟 Grab your tickets to see Murr live in Providence, RI on March 7th at the Uptown Theater

🕊️ Remembering Michael L. Malta aka The King of Pot (KOP) 👑💚

My mentor, Michael L. Malta, affectionately known as The King of Pot, was a Boston native, a pioneer in 💨 activism, and a man who helped lead the charge long before legalization was even a reality.

Michael fought tirelessly for medical patients nationwide and was one of the loudest, most passionate voices in the room for many years. He wasn’t afraid to stand up for what he believed in, even when the odds were stacked against him.

He taught me to remain humble, but walk with a big stick. To wear my heart on my sleeve, never compromise my integrity, and always stand up for those who couldn’t stand up for themselves. In today’s world, I’ve learned that those lessons are some of the greatest secrets to success.

On October 6, 2013, we unexpectedly lost Michael to a heart attack. He left behind two beautiful daughters, a loving wife, his father, and a community of people whose lives he forever changed.

I was fortunate enough to be welcomed into his family. I always called him “the Sicilian dad I never had,” and he absolutely loved it. Our relationship went far beyond cannabis advocacy. He was family, a mentor, a father figure, and one of the most influential people in my life.

After Michael’s passing, I made it my life’s mission to carry the torch and ensure that his name, his sacrifices, and his contributions to this movement would never be forgotten.

Thirteen years later, his legacy still lives on. To this day, I consider him one of the greatest examples of what a true advocate and community leader should be. He never needed fame or recognition. He simply wanted to make a difference.

I miss him dearly. There are so many moments I wish he could have been here to witness, so many accomplishments I wish we could have celebrated together, and so many conversations I wish we could have had.

But deep down, I know I made him proud. ❤️

The work isn’t finished. The mission continues. And the torch will never go out. 🔥

Rest in power, KOP. 👑 in 2 years we are going to fundraise to keep his memorial bench in the common

I’m honored to announce @bcbubbleman aka Marc Richardson as my Season 2, Episode 1 guest on @carryingthetorchpodcast! 🔥🎙️🫧

Marc and I go back a really long time, and in many ways, he helped mentor me and shape my love and appreciation for concentrates and h@sh culture. More than 15 years ago, he even sent me my first real set of Bubble Bags long before I could have imagined where this journey would eventually take me.

His dedication and contributions to 💨🌱 culture are incredibly significant. From pioneering education around solventless extraction to the rise of H@sh Church, Marc has spent decades openly sharing knowledge, techniques and experience with the community.

That willingness to share information helped an entire generation of makers, enthusiasts and educators take their skills and understanding to the next level myself included.

This one is personal for me. It’s a true full-circle moment to sit down with someone who had an impact on my journey so early on and now have the opportunity to document his story, legacy and contributions to the culture.

Season 2. Episode 1. Bubbleman. 🫧🔥

We’re carrying the torch and honoring the people who helped light it. 🔥🎙️ by @bobby.nuggz
