📍Redmond, Oregon

Redmond treated me right this time around coming home with a couple wins. Gotta keep the momentum rolling into bako.

Survived the carnage (mostly) and took home a sleeve at BMX National Championships 🇺🇸. We left West Monroe with a 2nd place team omnium finish and 3 medals! The team showed a lot of heart this week and perserved through some tough competition. Huge shout out to all the people who make this happen! #bmxnats @lindsey_wilson_university @pullbmx @usabmx taken in West Monroe, Louisiana by @bobby__connelly

National Champion.

I don’t really know how to put this into words. This weekend tested me in so many ways, and there were a lot of moments of doubt. Times where I didn’t know if I could pull it off. But this race was my main focus all year, and to come out a National Champion means everything to me.

A year ago, things didn’t go the way I wanted, and I left knowing I had more to give. I’ve carried that feeling with me ever since. All the pressure I put on myself, the doubt, the work. It all led to this moment. This time, I found a way.

More than anything, I’m just really grateful. Thank you to @pattonjosh and @lwucycling for believing in me, sticking with me, and giving me the opportunity to represent something bigger than myself. It truly means a lot to wear those LWU colors and line up with this team. I will never take that for granted.

This is something I’ll carry with me forever. All the long days, the commitment, the work… it was all worth it.

National Champion.

Never have I got emotional after a win… but this one brought the emotions out of me. After a rough weekend of beating myself up and fighting through it mentally, it was such a relief to finish it off with a bang. Sometimes it’s not about how you start, it’s about how you finish. Grateful for the lesson and a win.
