After my whole story of ups and downs..
in life…

One of the rare movies I saw twice in the cinema was “I am Legend” and from then on I knew that I would want to have such a companion like “Sam” some day.

It was my dream!

After my life threatening disease I decided to make my dream true..

I searched for a good place and came out by an old farm and I already felt in love with they appearance. Right back, colours like “Sam” in the movie.

Like in the movies I wanted to have a female one, one that would companion me in revalidation.

So they placed the female dogs for me at this place and like Harry Potter the wand chooses the wizard.
The dog chooses you..

And I got lucky to chosen by this beautiful creature. She is sweet, kind, loving, charming..
But she can also be a guard, a soldier with teeth and a playful friend into running and playing with the ball.

Shortly she was the best choice in my life, I will never regret it. Even if I already know someday I will have to let her go and move on with her memories.

But still then, it will be my best memories by @bobbygermanshepherddog

I have witnessed much of what a German Shepherd is capable of, including my own and highly trained K9 service dogs. Yet nothing has fascinated me more than the first time I saw her loose among a flock of sheep.

She wove her way through and around the flock with effortless grace, as though answering a calling as old as her lineage, performing a dance her ancestors had taught her long before she was born.

One dog, so many sheep, yet she was the one leading them. She was the one in charge.

The 19th.
The 19th, the day of my birth.
The 19th, the day of my death.

It has been a long time since I spoke about the war, my war. The inevitable battle. Just like every soldier who joins a volunteer army to fight such a war, I too enlisted to fight mine. Knowing there was no other choice, while also knowing that death could be the outcome. But after some reflection, I realised that death, sadly, was the outcome of every choice, whether I chose to fight or to flee. I chose to fight, and I fought my way through a horror, until, after a long struggle, I breathed out my final, weary breath.

Afterwards, I awoke in the life after death. There was no heaven waiting for me, no people standing on the other side to welcome me. No liberation from the battle. No, the battle continued. As though every bone in your body has been broken, yet you are still expected to carry on. That is the purgatory in which I find myself.

If I could describe myself now, I would say that I have become a grieving, resigned and lonely person in this atmosphere. Just like so many of the dead, I have fallen into oblivion. People have slowly forgotten me, or simply never remembered me afterwards. From my afterlife, I watch their existence and see how they flourish in their lives, while their memories of me, and the dignity with which they once remembered me, have slowly faded.

Like a person lying alone in a cemetery, I look upon the world from another dimension. I see how, in all my resignation and loneliness, I can only observe that, for now, there is no longer a place for me in this world.

Now I know what it means to pass over. I know what it is to become a man who is so deeply broken inside that neither disappointment nor heartbreak can truly describe the impact.

And here I am, a man alone after the battle, looking upon the world from my dimension, with my loyal four-legged companion beside me. Despite everyone else, she can still hear and see me in my dimension.

Fortunately, I have her by my side.
Even though I know that one day she too will ascend to heaven, for as long as she is here, she is the only reason I can still find the will to remain by @bobbygermanshepherddog
