Bio bit, I’ve been cutting hair professionally since twenty fourteen with plenty years of previous diy attempts. Learning originally under the Sassoon cutting curriculum and transitioning to the barber setting with the renaissance of short hair. All things between punk & sci-fi have propelled me into the trade from my adolescence of growing in the middle of the Mojave desert. Have held down the vegan straight edge since my teens and probably have some of the other expected cliché barber-isms. It can really be just as simple as hanging out, talking shit, & getting an exceptional haircut.

Delivered the news at the shop warming last night about us turning into a trio. Such a perfect party to start the trend of many more to come. Special props to Carlos for the photos and to the folks who came through. We’ll see y’all soon. taken in Oakwood Cemetery (Austin, Texas) by @bobbylukebarber

Big news everyone! Starting May 7th I’ll be cutting alongside my buddy Rob @barbist.rob at a beautiful private hair studio. I can confidently say that this space is something special.

The studio is connected to a stunning tattoo shop @communiontattoo filled with other incredibly talented artists. Where else can you get a fresh cut and some new ink?

Every opportunity I’ve earned has been a stepping stone to this moment. I’m growing deeper in my craft and I’m taking y’all with me. This space is where the work expands, the culture lives, and the roots run deep. Grateful for every one of you rocking with me!

More details to follow, but in the meantime, thank you all so much for your love and continued support. Block party launch to come..

Love,
Arthur

Moving trains in static frames, often taking photos when not cutting hair. Rejuvenating trip with the boys meeting new friends, Chicago rules.

Endlessly fortunate having the chairs filled with such warmth while our best friends are gracious enough to capture the tale.
