Today would have been Ryne’s birthday. I think about him a lot when watching the Cubs and think of all the great times we had together over 30 years of our friendship. Every time I hear Eddie Vedder or Journey I stop and think of the times we had together at our signings or sitting in his garage listening to the music. Say a prayer for Margaret and his family today. 23 in my heart always taken in Houston, Texas by @bobbymintz1

The next MLB Hall of Famer? Dusty Baker likely will be eligible December 2026 and we can’t wait for the day his name is called. Jeff Kent said the day Dusty became his manager his career changed. Jeff credits Dusty to be the single most influential person in his Hall of Fame career. When you spend time with Dusty it is easy to see why. Beloved by everyone, so thankful to call him our exclusive client and can not wait for his name to be called. It was fun spending time with him in Cooperstown where he and Melissa were there supporting Jeff. Many cool items available for Dusty at www.tristarproductions.com@tristar1 taken in Cooperstown, New York by @bobbymintz1

Rob Gronkowski, 4 time Super Bowl Champion, closed out the weekend and you are probably thinking what is he really like? Well, just as you would think. He is so much fun to be around, couldn’t have been more accommodating and thoughtful with everyone. Fun should be his middle name. We look forward to having him at future shows now that he is retired and has a little more time on his hands. @gronk Special thanks to our old friend Matt Helms who put this together who is a gem in his own right. taken in Rosemont, Illinois by @bobbymintz1

Great spending time at the Baseball Hall of Fame celebrating our client Jeff Kent whose induction in the hall was long overdue. I enjoyed spending time with Rob Manfred MLB commissioner as well as our client Dusty Baker who is right behind Jeff next year. It was also great seeing Juan Marichal who has been doing our shows over 30 years. He is such a sweet, wonderful man who I am thankful for our long time friendship. This man is one of the 50 greatest players in NBA history. Long before he became the legend he is, he guided the University of Houston to at the time one of the biggest wins in NCAA history beating John Wooden’s UCLA team in what is known as the Game of the Century at the Astrodome in 1968. Still going strong Elvin Hayes was fun to see again and spend time with. He does color radio for our nationally ranked Houston Cougars and truly is a Houston treasure and one of the most beloved people in Houston sports history. Items will be available for the BIG E at www.tristarproductions.com in coming weeks. taken in Houston, Texas by @bobbymintz1

So I am walking an old friend out after his appearance at our 40th annual TRISTAR Collectors show, and Dennis says, Bob how long have we known each other. I said D I think 25 years? He said we have never taken a photo together. I said well it isn’t too late. So here we are one of the greatest rebounders in NBA history as well as defenders. So misunderstood by the world, smart, funny, different yet one of the nicest guys you will ever meet once he gets to know you. Items will be on tristarproductions.com in the weeks to come. Glad we finally took a photo….. taken in Houston, Texas by @bobbymintz1

Catching up on some photos from our recently completed 40th Annual TRISTAR Collectors show. 40 years went fast! This guy might be the most beloved Houston athlete ever. Jose Altuve who is on his way to Cooperstown. I have been a huge fan of his over the years and he didn’t disappoint. Just a great guy who couldn’t have been nicer and more accommodating. I look forward to seeing him again. Special thanks to @gtsm_shows @gtsportsmarketing for connecting us and the great Tyler Bergstrom for flying all the way in! Items will be available for Jose at www.tristarproductions.com soon. taken in Houston, Texas by @bobbymintz1

Just returned from the Winter MLB Baseball Meetings where I always am so thankful to be able to attend and see old friends and colleagues. Today was no different. I ran into an old old friend who I have known since 1993 and has been massively successful as a baseball agent staying independent and building a great reputation in the representation business with his partner Damon Lapa. @allbasescoveredmanagement Scott Leventhal on the right. Here we are today with his son Quinn who is a certified baseball agent himself. Q on the left and me in the middle. We are still rolling after over 30 years…..a highlight of my trip catching up with them taken in Orlando, Florida by @bobbymintz1
