ROTATE, selected by International Photography Awards 2024 Motorsports category.
“Rotate” refers to lifting the wheel, capturing the moment when a race car lands on three wheels after bouncing off curbs. In professional racing theory, this action also aids the car in completing the rotation during a turn, giving the term “rotate” a double meaning. Although I’m not sure if the judges will grasp this layered significance, I’m already glad to be in the list.
