August 25, 2018 my best friend named Thurman entered my life. Today he passed away from heart cancer. I always said Thurman lived his life by the three L rule: Living, Licking, and Loving and especially loving. Anyone that met Thurm knew he didn’t do anything more than love with his whole heart. He never barked he never bit but he always cuddled and wanted to make friends. He saw me at my best and at my worst and no matter what he always saw me with love he loved me when I didn’t wanna love myself and he loved me the exact same when I was giving him cookies and rubbing his butt. T bone was the best dog a person could ask for and I can only count on about 10 hands how many times he pissed me off but I could also count on a million and more hands how many times I was thankful and blessed to have him. He got to experience a lot of places in his life he’s been in Nashville he’s been on the lake he spent some years with me in Knoxville and he even made a car ride all the way down to Miami, and no matter where he was he had a smile on his face and was wiggling his butt. If there’s anything Thurman taught me it was to try to love all no matter what and no matter how good, hard, scary, or funny life is that there’s always a reason to have a smile on your face. I will forever love you bubba and you were the best thing to have ever entered my life you will forever be missed. I may not be able to follow the 3 Ls that you lived by but I’ll do my best to always Live and Love for you Thurman ❤️ by @bobbywhitley_
