Caden, there’s so much I want to say to you, and it’s hard to process that I won’t get to say it to you. I love you and I miss you deeply. You were my friend, my cousin, my brother, and so much more than words can describe. You were a leader, you were a mentor, you were a light. Above all of these things, you were a child of God. “Live Like Caden” has been thrown around a lot recently, at first I thought those were some pretty big shoes to fill, because they are. Not just because you were bigger and taller than me even though you were 2 years younger, but because you were so many things to so many people. People kept making me think that you had to be a symbol for something, but I didn’t know you as a symbol. I knew you as a person. And that’s what I had to realize. I had to remember that as a person you loved God, and you knew that he loved you, and through that love goodness, beauty, and blessings would follow after. And they did, and they will continue to do that. Don’t worry about Uncle Jamie, Aunt Sella, and Lyla we are gonna take care of them. We will listen, talk to, and be a shoulder to cry on if they need. We will get through this as a family. This is a horrible, beautiful, terrible, wonderful tragedy that will teach us here on earth how to live for God, because that is how you lived. We will all “Live Like Caden”. I love you buddy, Goodbye. ❤️

Jet: Okay. Well, then I’m out.
Bob: I’m sorry Jet. Actually you’re already in.
Jet: Okay. Then why would you ask me??
Bob: Because I thought you would go, “I’m in Bob.” And we would have a really cool moment, but you kind of ruined the whole thing.
