POSTS STORIES REELS

From arriving in the UK at 18 with just a backpack and a few pounds… to building one of Wanstead’s most loved cafés.

On this episode of BROCAST, we sit down with Bobo, founder of Bobo & Wild, as he shares the early days of his journey, moving to London to learn English, knocking on café doors looking for work, and landing his very first job pot washing at Wimpy in Ealing Broadway.

A reminder that every big story starts somewhere.

Dough stretched by hand, sauce ladled on, into the oven and onto your table still bubbling. Someone always says they’ll just have one slice. Nobody ever has one slice. 🍕

📍 Bobo & Wild Shoreditch

It’s better at Bobo’s. by @boboandwild

Overlooking Shoreditch Park is @boboandwild’s very first site, which opened back in September 2021.

The idea was simple but considered.

To create a neighbourhood space where the local community could connect over a shared love of food and coffee, whilst taking their time.

And as their sites grow across London, including their most recent opening on Peckham Road, that original feeling is still very much at the heart of all they do.

But the space also transforms from morning to evening, swapping coffees for thoughtfully paired wines. Dedicated to people, whatever time of day.

Serving on a custom Linea PB, the team also works closely with @missioncoffeeworks, sharing a similar philosophy around a personal experience that’s consistent. by @boboandwild

This is what a good day looks like on Peckham Road. Brunch and bakery, built for slow mornings that turn into long afternoons.

You came in for a quick coffee. It’s now 2pm, somebody’s ordered pancakes for the table, and nobody’s mentioned leaving. 🧡

Send this to the friend who always says “just a quick one.” We saved you a seat!

This is where your dessert starts. Try not to order all three.

Tiramisu, built layer by layer in the glass. A gluten-free brownie, so nobody at the table sits dessert out. Crème brûlée, torched until the top cracks under the spoon.
