Jazz belongs in dark rooms, on loud systems, making bodies move. Two Five One continues its mission of bringing jazz back to the dance floor, celebrating the energy, rhythm, and freedom that characterized it in the first place.

For the second edition, we invited artists moving between live performance and club culture, blurring the line between concert and dance floor. The night will slowly build from head bopping into full movement.

The evening opens with @taleasounds setting the tone through a jazz-focused selection, before @soundofbonsai takes over with a live performance built for the club environment. From there, @bobrochebass and @kim.josefine guide the room deeper into the night with rhythm-driven selections.

Come listen. Come dance. Come get lost in the groove.

We hope to be part of your New Year’s resolutions to dance a lot, dance hard, and share plenty of love to the sound of underground disco and everything that comes with it. With that, we’re excited to introduce our next guest DJ @bobrochebass 💿 As the bassist and composer of @anothertaste_ @spacegrapesrecords Bob knows how to build a bridge between live music and the club experience. You can expect the same in his DJ set: from spiritual jazz to high-energy dance music and left-field sounds, all guaranteed to get you moving. Mark your calendars! Love Transmission returns on 6 February @cultisus with two longtime favorites making a grand comeback; @bobrochebass and Bobby van Putten 💥

We couldn’t resist inviting these two back, feeling nostalgic about the time they turned the place upside down with an incredible B2B at one of our first Love Transmission parties nearly two years ago. Bobby van Putten (label manager @spacegrapesrecords, keys @anothertaste_) and Bob Roche (bass player & composer @anothertaste_) are two dedicated diggers, widely respected among soulful-music lovers for the broad spectrum of deep selections they’ve spent years unearthing. From Latin jazz and modern soul to boogie, gospel, disco, and rare funk, their sets reflect a lifetime of careful listening and collecting.
In recent years, you may have seen them perform live with their band ‘Another Taste’ at festivals and venues such as @lowlands_fest, @wildeburg, @paradisoadam, @tresorberlin and @heidegluehen_official in Berlin, @flowfestivalhelsinki @southportweekender @nuits_sonores in Lyon, @futur_festival in Torino, and @gillespeterson @worldwide_festival_sete just to name a few from their long list of appearances.
We’ll be introducing them in the weeks ahead, so stay tuned! If you enjoyed the last edition with @antalheitlager as much as we did, don’t miss this unique vinyl-only B2B from these two truly devoted disco heads. Let’s build a community! You know where to grab your tickets ♥️
