Last week was full on. This week isn’t quiet and to slow me down a little more, I have a poorly Miss Ada and now running on no sleep.

:: MR & MRS KNOWLES ::

Six weeks ago, Fiona messaged me to ask about my wedding packages. They’d decided to throw caution to the wind, do things their own way, and get married. And just like that, a wedding tale began. 🤍

No big guest list, no months (or years!) of planning, and no-one knowing what was happening apart from their three children and three family members. A whole lot of love, and a day that was entirely *them*.

The majestic staircase at Stockport Town Hall provided the most incredible backdrop for their photographs, before we headed to Albert’s in Standish for an intimate private dining experience where the details really did flourish.

Every little touch was considered, with emerald green woven throughout — from her shoes and bag to the embroidered napkins (and even my supplier basket!). 💚

Even Glenn’s Lamborghini joined the colour scheme… although his shade of green was a little more lime than emerald!

A reminder that a wedding doesn’t need to follow a formula. It can be planned in six weeks, shared with just six loved ones, and still be every bit as beautiful, meaningful and unforgettable.

Fiona & Glenn, what a privilege to be trusted with your little piece of magic. ✨

Autumn was autumning and the day was perfect! From Sabina’s Polish father reading his speech in English to the groomsmen with their very creative in-wedding safety briefing.

Do you know what truly makes me feel so blessed in this job? Being recommended over and over again. 🤍

Meet Roanna. She’s been a bridesmaid at two previous Bobtale weddings, so being asked to photograph her own wedding was such a proud and special moment for me.

Walking into bridal prep that morning felt like coming home, with so many familiar faces — previous Bobtale brides, Bobtale mamas and friends I’d photographed along the way. There’s something incredibly special about people returning to you, and then recommending you to the people they love.

Daniel and Roanna tied the knot in their local church before heading to one of my absolute favourites, @alberts_standish, for the most beautiful celebrations.

Surrounded by their favourite people, with plenty of little VIPs in attendance, and even a very special visit from their gorgeous Bonnie 🐾 — it was such a lovely day to be part of.

Roanna & Daniel, thank you for trusting me with your story. It really is an honour to photograph moments like these, especially when they come full circle.

:: BELONGING ::

Happy Saturday lovelies! Today is my last wedding of September 2026…before I nose dive into the busiest month of the year!
Today I am returning to @alberts_standish where this time last month, I photographed Rebecca and Scott’s beautiful wedding day last month.
I love working here, it’s a lovely venue and so close to home too!
Tomorrow, I will be showcasing at their new sister venue @longridge_house for their open day. So if you are wedding planning, still looking for a venue or searching for your perfect suppliers, come and say hi!

:: AUTUMN ::
🍂 I am not going to lie, I do love the warmer months but I am so ready for cosy season!
I am spending the day catching up with editing but I may try to find the time to start to change over some of my decor to my autumn vibes!
I have THE busiest month of the year planned for October and I think I’ll come up for air around January! But grateful for people keeping me busy.

That autumn sunlights hits differently and after having lots of meetings with some of my October couples yesterday, I cannot wait to see what autumn has in store this year.

I still can’t believe I have weddings still to share - the start of the ‘ber’ months have flown and I’m desperately trying to catch up.
Katharine & Williams wedding took me for my first visit to @hotelcrowwood on the August bank holiday Sunday!
Whilst their day was filled with scattered downpours and a little thunder, but their day wasn’t dampened at all! They celebrated with their friends and family and made the best memories.

:: Things they won’t remember, but you’ll never forget ::

To all the parents whose little ones are starting school this week… 🥹🤍

The tiny shoes.
The oversized uniform.
The backpack that’s almost bigger than they are.
The nervous little smile.
The hand you don’t quite want to let go of.

There’s so much excitement in a first day of school, but there’s a little bit of heartbreak too. Because somehow, your baby is suddenly ready to walk through those school gates without you. 🥺

And while you’re busy making sure they have everything they need, don’t forget to stop and notice the little things.

Because one day, the details that seem so ordinary now will be the things you’d give anything to remember exactly as they were. 🤍
