An apology has been put out, but honestly, I felt it was weak and didn’t really address the heart of the issue.

That said, at the end of the day, we can’t change people - and trying to force someone to change can become its own form of control.

We do our best. We say our piece. We stand up for what we believe is right. And sometimes, that’s all we can do.

The rest is up to them.

I genuinely hope this can be a lesson for people: don't make fun of someone's ethnic name and bully a group of people for the valid complaints of a handful of customers. Especially not on a large public platform where millions of people can see it, and especially not because you think it’s funny or that it will generate engagement. We don't need to add more unnecessary hate and division to a world that already has enough of it.

I started going to this park to work out and needless to say, I’ve had some VERY eye-opening interactions.

I’ve heard kids casually throwing around the N-hard R word and making other racist comments like that is their every day vocabulary. I had minors think it was “cool” to ask me to hook up with them, and when I shut it down, I’ve gotten some defensive responses.

I had a teacher friend get in trouble because kids thought it was funny to accuse him of sexual assault for the fun of it. Eventually one of them admitted it was a prank. I feel for our teachers nowadays.

I’m not saying every child is like this but some of the things I’ve personally witnessed and experienced within a few days of each other have honestly left me speechless.

Kids are getting engrained with this from somewhere and then spreading it to other kids 🫠 by @bodangers

While many influencers talk at people, Alex makes a genuine effort to connect with them. It is important especially in person!

BTS was my first concert ever!!! 💜 I spent my life working on my business, anything fun had to wait. I didn't know I had it in me to scream.

Watching BTS live was seeing the result of years of struggle, sacrifice, and staying true to themselves. Before the stadiums and global success, they were seven guys eating ramen noodles, sharing beds in tiny hotel rooms to save money, and even performing free concerts just to get their name out there.

Despite everything they’ve achieved, they’ve remained humble, giving back through donations and charity work. They’re even touring multiple cities for multiple days to help keep ticket prices accessible, which made it possible for many to go tonight. And the kindness extended beyond BTS...the ARMYs welcomed me with open arms and even gave me gifts. Some nice ladies were shocked I wasn't showing my excitement which was a reminder of how jaded I was🥹💜

Knowing how far they’ve come made seeing them perform in front of a full stadium of 80,000+ people in Baltimore on both days even more special.

Thank you, BTS, for giving so many people something to believe in💜✨

P.S. somebody get @jin some Maryland crab cakes... this man got pizza after asking us for food recommendation
