Made this top from leftover green stretch mesh we had sitting around—nothing planned, just playing and trusting the process. Paired it with black ribbon to give it a little softness and shape, and somehow it turned into a favorite piece.

A reminder that you don’t need more, you just need vision.

This 2PC set was truly a labor of love from start to finish.

I started with an army jacket and cargo pants and upcycled them with reclaimed denim — layering different washes and textures to give the set more depth, structure, and story. I love working with repurposed materials because there’s something powerful about transforming what already exists into something elevated and intentional. It keeps the soul of the garment intact while giving it a whole new identity.

For the back, I printed a custom distressed Belize flag on canvas. I didn’t want it to feel overly polished — I wanted it to feel worn, resilient, real. Like history. Like legacy. I carefully sewed it onto the jacket so it felt integrated, not just added on.

Then came the bejeweled details. Every rhinestone was placed by hand — across the entire jacket and throughout the pants. I wanted the sparkle to hit when the light catches it, but still feel balanced and strong. Soft meets structured. Feminine meets militant. Shine layered over grit.

On the pants, I hand-sewed a beautiful appliqué over an additional denim patch to tie everything together — reinforcing the textures and making sure every detail spoke to one another. Nothing rushed. Every stitch intentional.

This wasn’t just an outfit. It was a passion piece.

A reminder that where you come from is something to stand tall in. That your roots are not something to shrink — they are something to amplify. To wear boldly. To celebrate loudly.

Designing this was about honoring her heritage and making sure that pride showed up radiant, grounded, and undeniable.

And seeing her wear it on stage at Skyline Festival… that was the full-circle moment. 🇧🇿✨

We’re beyond grateful for everyone who showed up, supported, and made this day feel so special.

This is possible because of our friend @taehouse___ . From the beginning, they believed in this vision and opened the door for us to create something rooted in community and collaboration. We’re so grateful to be building together and can’t wait to see where this takes us.
