A special moment meeting Barbara O’Neill

After more than 20 years working in health, healing and wellbeing, one thing has become clearer to me with every passing year:

The learning never stops.

My own journey into healing began through personal experience experiencing severe injury, searching for answers and discovering approaches that completely changed the direction of my life.

That journey eventually led me to helping others and, ultimately, to creating BodiSync.

But I have never wanted to reach a point where I believe I know everything.

Meeting Barbara O’Neill and hearing her perspective on natural health was another opportunity to listen, learn and reflect.

I believe we can learn something from everyone. We don’t have to follow one philosophy or one approach we can remain curious, take what resonates, continue questioning and keep expanding our understanding.

That is very much the philosophy behind BodiSync.

We look beyond an isolated symptom and consider the person as a whole physical, internal and emotional — recognising that every person’s body, experiences and healing journey are different.

For me, knowledge only becomes truly meaningful when we can use it to serve and help others.

After all these years, I still consider myself a student.

And I hope I always will.

Never stop learning.
Never stop evolving.
Never stop looking for ways to help others.

People often ask me why I do what I do.

The answer is simple...

Because I’ve lived it.

My name is Sukh, and I’m the founder of BodiSync.

Over 25 years ago, my life changed in an instant.

After spending several years working in banking, I suffered a severe back injury that left me semi-paralysed. I lost my independence almost overnight.

I searched everywhere for answers. I tried conventional treatments, but the improvements were only temporary. As the physical pain continued, I found myself trapped in a downward spiral of depression and addiction to alcohol, opioids, and painkillers, believing this was how the rest of my life would be.

A cousin convinced me to see a Japanese integrated therapy specialist.

For the first time, someone looked beyond my injury and explained that the body is one connected system, physical, emotional, and internal health all influence one another. He didn’t just treat my back... he treated me.

Just 8 weeks later, I was 40% better.

The pain was easing, but something even more powerful happened...

The darkness I’d been living under began to lift.

For the first time in years, I felt hope.

I became so inspired that I learnt the therapy myself not to start a business, but simply to understand what had helped me reclaim my life and to continue to self-heal.

As I began treating family and friends, I watched them transform in ways I never expected. Seeing people reconnect with themselves ignited a passion that has now shaped the last 21years of my life.

Today, BodiSync provides bespoke natural holistic treatments for physical, internal, neurological, and emotional well-being, helping people uncover the root causes of imbalance rather than simply managing symptoms.

I know what it feels like to lose yourself.

I also know what it feels like to find yourself again.

If you’re ready to begin your own journey back to balance, I’d be honoured to walk it with you.

📩 Send us a DM or email info@bodisync.com.

Sometimes the greatest pain in our lives becomes the purpose that allows us to heal others.

WE TREAT THE ROOT CAUSE NOT THE SYMPTOMS BY BALANCING YOU!

We would like to welcome @manieshpaul as our newest health partner.

@manieshpaul came to us suffering with a tight back, neck and shoulders following his hectic filming schedule in the UK.

We balanced @kbellebeauty on an Emotional, Internal and Physical level. We achieved this combining a number of natural therapies together to achieve overall optimal balance.

Watch the treatment video to view the different distinct therapies adopted to balance Maniesh.

We adopt a holistic approach to natural health care through the fusion of traditional Eastern and contemporary Western techniques; a holistic-medical hybrid model.

Our treatment protocol distinguishes itself as a complete system of prevention, diagnosis and treatment based upon a "whole person" approach, recognising that though a specific organ or area may become the primary focus of illness, the effects will be impacted to some degree throughout the body.

The Blend of Therapies Utilised Included:

🟠 Japanese Joint and Spine Mobilisation and Adjustment Techniques

🟠 Japanese - 'Anma' Massage - Soft Tissue Balancing; Ligament Balancing

🟠 Japanese Medical Acupuncture

🟠 Visceral Massage and Visceral Stimulation - To improve Organ Functions

REEL 3 — SUKH, THE SON

The Final Chapter • 3 of 3

This is the final Reel in the journey I came to India to share.

When I arrived here, I didn’t know what telling this story would bring out of me.

I’ve cried. I’ve remembered. I’ve questioned. I’ve smiled. And I’ve allowed myself to be vulnerable in a way I couldn’t back home.

But one thing has become clearer.

I don’t need to move on from Dad.

I can move forward with him carrying his love, his values, his memories and everything being his son has made me.

If you’ve watched this journey from the beginning, thank you for allowing me to share something so personal.

And if you’re carrying your own loss, whether from months or many years ago, I hope something within my story has helped you with yours.

This may be the final video in this series.

But I will always be Sukh, the son.

“Dad, death changed how I can reach you, but it could never change who I am to you. I was your son then, I am your son today, and I will carry that privilege for the rest of my life.” 🙏🏽

REEL 2 — SUKH, THE SON

Final Chapter • 2 of 3

Coming back to India has made me reflect not only on losing Dad, but on what it means to continue being his son when he is no longer physically here.

I still hear his words.

I still carry his teachings.

I recognise parts of him within myself.

And sometimes I find myself doing or saying something and realise… that was Dad.

Perhaps our relationship hasn’t ended.

Perhaps it has simply changed.

“A father may leave his son’s side, but the parts of himself he gave to his son continue walking through life.” 🙏🏽

REEL 1 — SUKH, THE SON

Final Chapter • 1 of 3

Throughout this journey, I’ve spoken about grief, memories, pain, change and trying to understand life after losing Dad.

But underneath everything I’ve shared is something much simpler.

I’m just a son who misses his dad.

For so much of my life I have different roles and responsibilities. But losing Dad brought me back to one of the most fundamental parts of who I am his son.

These final three Reels are perhaps the most personal reflection on my journey so far.

“No matter how old we become, there is a part of us that will always remain our parents’ child.” 🙏🏽

REEL 2 — IT FEELS LIKE I’M LOSING DAD AGAIN

Chapter 2 of 2

This continues directly from Chapter 1.

There are moments when the reality of Dad not being physically here hits me all over again.

And in those moments, it doesn’t always feel like something that happened months ago.

It feels like I’m losing him again.

I’m beginning to understand that my journey isn’t about reaching a point where I never feel that pain again. It’s about allowing those emotions to come, understanding them and learning how to carry them alongside all the love and memories Dad left with me.

I’m sharing these moments because if you’ve ever wondered why grief can suddenly feel so raw again — even years after losing someone you may recognise something of your own journey in mine.

“Some days I feel the distance of losing Dad. Other days I feel the closeness of everything he left within me.” 🙏🏽

REEL 1 — IT FEELS LIKE I’M LOSING DAD AGAIN

Chapter 1 of 2

Grief has a way of returning when you least expect it.

You can feel like you’re beginning to find your feet, learning to live with the loss… and then something happens that takes you straight back.

In this part of my journey, I share a moment where the emotions became so real again that it felt like I was losing Dad all over again.

I’m learning that grief isn’t a straight road. Sometimes we revisit emotions we thought we had already moved through.

“Grief doesn’t always return because we haven’t healed; sometimes it returns because love has found another memory to remind us of what we miss.” 🙏🏽

REEL 2 — SOMETHING WITHIN ME CHANGED

Chapter 2 of 2

I was still me. I still had responsibilities. I still had a family, work and people who depended on me.

But inside, I wasn’t quite the same person anymore.

In this chapter, I share more about that internal change and what I began to understand about myself, my grief and learning to live with Dad no longer physically here.

I’m sharing these experiences because someone watching may recognise something they’re experiencing themselves even if their loss happened many years ago.

“Grief didn’t take away who I was; it began revealing who I would have to become without Dad physically beside me.” 🙏🏽

REEL 1 — SOMETHING WITHIN ME CHANGED

Chapter 1 of 2

After losing Dad, life continued around me but something within me had changed.

In this part of my journey, I share what began happening inside me after saying goodbye and how I started to experience life differently.

Some changes were obvious. Others I didn’t understand at the time.

This is a deeply personal part of my story, but one I feel is important to share because grief doesn’t always show itself in the ways we expect.

“Loss doesn’t only change the life around us; sometimes it quietly changes the person within us.” 🙏🏽

REEL 3 — SAYING GOODBYE TO DAD | Chapter 3 of 3

And this is the final chapter from the day I said goodbye to Dad.

There are experiences in life that divide everything into before and after. For me, this was one of them.

Sharing these three videos has meant allowing you into one of the most vulnerable moments of my life.

But this journey isn’t only about the day Dad left.

It’s about everything that came afterwards the grief, the memories, the questions, the healing and learning how to continue carrying Dad with me.

“I said goodbye to Dad that day, but I never said goodbye to being his son.”

REEL 2 — SAYING GOODBYE TO DAD | Chapter 2 of 3

Some of the moments I’m sharing here are amongst the most personal and difficult of my life moments between a father and his son that I will carry with me forever.

I’m not sharing them because they’re easy to talk about. I’m sharing them because loss is something so many of us carry, sometimes silently for years.

“A goodbye may last only a moment, but the love behind it carries through a lifetime.” 🙏🏽
