🎞 body architects / Hygin Delimat:
House Beating
Premiere 10.2015 / Anton Bruckner University Linz / site specific performance

House Beating is a performative artwork that spans across media of choreography, composition, and art installation. It evolved from a practice of embodying the ideals of modernist architecture. Together, the collective of artist (re)interprets Le Corbusier’s and Xennakis’ revolutionary concepts of performing space and recontextualizes them in the contemporary architectural reality.

We just finished a wonderful experience of the Pilot Project in Vienna. We tested out the methods developed during the Erasmus+ Project @playingbodies ! We went into public spaces in Vienna despite the maybe a little cold weather. But the physical activity and spirit of exploration warmed us up!

A memory from the wonderful partnering-based project Mosty/ Bridges. There is a so much beauty and emotion in the close contact work with another body.

Mosty/ Bridges by @hygindance with a group of wonderfully enthusiastic 13 movement artists (@akademiamuzycznalodz @am.zakladtanca @fontys.danceartsincontext
@fundacjasztukmistrze). Thank you @lubelskiteatrtanca
and MSTT festival for making it happen!

Two weeks ago during the MSTT festival in Lublin, I had a pleasure to work on a short creation/lab titled Mosty/Bridges with a group of wonderfully enthusiastic 13 movement artists (@akademiamuzycznalodz @am.zakladtanca @fontys.danceartsincontext @fundacjasztukmistrze). We met everyday at @galerialabirynt and worked in the language of partnering. Something really worked during this week and we managed to create not only a short piece but also a sense of togetherness. I am really happy for it and I hope for more experiences like this. Thank you @lubelskiteatrtanca for making it happen!
