Yes you can have your lobster and chocolate cake and eat it too and don’t let anyone ever tell you otherwise!!!🦞🍰. My favorite thing to do in life is to lead people who want it into finding the physical and spiritual connection where you are drinking it all in.💧🫶
There is a way for you to live where you get to have delight and diligence in a way that feels so natural and so right. Here I cut together these little moments from this weekend where I got to teach pilates for the most beautiful hotel, have the yummiest brunch, dinner, romance, and only catch a few clips in my phone because I like life with my phone away.

My mission with Body By Leslie is to lead people into finding that body/spirit connection where movement and nutrition is a part of you. It’s wild to me to think back to times in my life where the pain, trauma and heartbreak have felt so big and I didn’t know the connection of the body. Today, I see with clear eyes that we get to tool up for no matter what comes at us, and know it’s all a temporary, part of the many things, and we are in it to win! If you want to do things differently and don’t know how, and are ready to jump All IN with me….

Total Body Transformation is a custom fitness & nutrition plan for YOU. TBT is my most precious offering, gives you access to work one on one with me, weekly coaching, video messages from me daily, it’s the ultimate level of accountability. I get to hear and take in your unique history, your deepest desires, who you are day in and day out. This is our starting point for the design. My role is to show you how you can have a big and incredible life, look AND FEEL amazing, and move and eat in ways that are balanced, will become your rituals, and your new way of being! I am giving $100 off for this quarter! I can only take 7, so the code will work for the 1st 7 to jump on it, it’s: ‘TBT100’🔥🔥🔥🔥. Link and all the program details are in my bio!🔥🔥 #changeyourbody #changeyourmind #fitnessandnutrition #yourbodyisatemple by @bodybyleslie

Celebrating 1 week with my baby girl Genesis with pilates, of course! We officially have our morning ritual set in place: stretch, breakfast, Pilates.🧘‍♀️🥣💪.

We are what we practice. From the moment my biological clock kicked in hard just before my 42nd birthday, I began my deep dive into priming my body for natural pregnancy….. an awesome journey of diligence + faith: cut to the here and now with Genesis. I turn 43 in a few months!

I feel so blessed to have a baby that is so healthy, and such a lover. I know a lot of this is God, AND, I also live by James 2:26: "…faith without works is dead.” How I mean this is, we bonded intimately before she was even here, as I designed my priming plan, continuing in the womb with movement & nutrition that supported her development mind/body/soul. And mine too! 🫶🫶

I am feeling solid with how my body is working and coming back together.. yes it’s fast, but is it, considering it’s been prepped for this?? I treated pregnancy and labor like a great athletic event, and came out with a healthy, thriving, bright-eyed baby, and a 1st degree tear that is pretty remarkable for first time birth. I am honored, and I am proud!

I am so grateful to know my body, and to get to help women walking this path. DM me if you’re in it and not sure what to do. I’m in my DMs a lot these days… esp being up every 2 hours feeding her. Energy is high from all the oxytocin running through my body having her on my breasts so much! I take in 1,000 calories of snacks during the night feeds alone, and she blasts through it!!! Our bodies are amazing conduits.

I almost called the studios to say I’m ready to come back and teach 5 days out from having her, but I know this time is precious, and so I’m staying where my feet are and taking it all in.😭😭🥹🥹I am incredibly passionate about instilling hope in others. Link is in my bio for my Prenatal Program, it has all your workouts laid out for you, following alongside as I was pregnant doing them.💪🦋💓

Our baby girl Genesis came into the world at 10:38 pm last night 10/21/24, she is everything, we are so obsessed with her, and she is already loved beyond measure!!!!! The video of that final push felt like life. Idk how else to describe it. My sister Olga came in when I was 10 cm dilated, that part happened so fast I called her and it was like woah NOW?!!!— having Chris, her, and pilates + strength such a big part of me, I felt so ready.

The day was the most magical day from start to finish. Starting with my waters breaking all around our house as I went from room to room, it’s a feeling I’ll never forget. Sheer excitement and energy gushing out of me. Again, and again, and again! Contractions started so easy and then came in hard and fast, my body and mind game really had me. Chris and I got really physical with it, we felt so in sync, and it was better than I could have ever imagined or dreamed.

Holding her for the first time felt so euphoric I have no words. Chris says it’s a moment in life where you don’t think or care about anything except what’s happening at that exact moment you’re actually living life at that moment. The endorphin rush now is wild. She’s latching beautifully and we are running on adrenaline obv lol welcome to the world beautiful girl we are head over heels in love with you always and forever🫠💘👼💋

I feel so lucky to get to teach four SOLDOUT classes w/my favorite humans, then my girl comes running in and we’re off to a badass Paris-themed birthday party with puppies for Genesis to play with. BEST DAY EVER!!!💪😭🎂🗼😍😍😍

Dreamy. Wild. Romantic. Feral. 🐠💋🌴💫

Sad to be leaving, but grateful to feel the total fantasy amidst chaos. This year Genesis was so excited about running around everywhere we went. Absolutely refusing diaper changes.😭😭😭Stringing words together for what she wants. She started calling me ‘mommy’ instead of ‘mama’ this week🦋.Wants me literally every second.🥹
The beautiful things in life rarely ask for less of us. They ask for everything. And they’re always worth it.💓

Kauai has a way of making everything feel dreamlike. ☁️🌺 by @bodybyleslie

🤌15 min Core Stabilization, & Glutes

This sequence it felt amazing you have to try it! Ahhhh we’re having the most magical and chaotic time here can’t wait to do a carousel post of our trip we’ve gone to more beaches than I can count, pouring rain and all😍🙃💧💧💧.

I love starting off with mobility work, getting into progressive overload via kneeling squats with added weight of Genesis🥹🩵, and flowing into the rotational movements and dynamic control.

🔥Hit the weighted kneeling squats (mobility, glutes, core, inner thigh focus) in full range of motion. Do 4 sets alternating before moving onto the alignment set.
🧘‍♀️From there flow into the 3 point lift x clam, a beautiful transition you will feel it working your obliques in preparation for the high side plank. These functional movements and working in all planes of motion are critical with baby carrying moving into toddler-hood of you never know what directional things are going 😂😭.
🏹With the keg extensions you can add my bands to take body weight work to resistance, take your time in the hold and full breaths, you’ll feel renewed and awake.

Movement was my sanctuary before conception, which set the stage for my practice during my pregnancy, and finally for the fluidity in my body and workouts postpartum. In my prenatal workouts, I set my focus and commitment to correcting postural issues before they started, the weight of the growing uterus and baby belly growing in front. My focus now as Genesis grows bigger, and stronger in her physical body and her will, I’m so grateful I did the work, giving me the strength to perform in ways new to my body as a mom. I love that I have the exact workouts I did throughout my conception, pregnancy, and beyond, to train women walking through this sacred time.💓

If you’re searching for guidance in your fitness & nutrition, DM me I’d love to connect!.🐣💪🙌

Happy Father’s Day ❤️.
These carousels are impossible! How do i pick 20 slides?!!!

So happy I heard you come in and all you saw were the paints 🎨🖌️🫟💓🐠!!! Can’t wait to see your face at breakfast surprise in the AM, and the cutest art project Genesis poured her 19 month heart into for dada…..

Watching you with Genesis has been one of the biggest blessings of my life.

And one of the greatest gifts my dad ever gave me was showing me what a truly great father looks like.🥹

I always prayed for a father like my dad for my own family.

Turns out I got one.

And Dad, I know you’re smiling today.

Two weeks until Kauai with my favorite humans, continuing the tradition I always shared with my dad and family (yes, I’m counting down🩴👙🩳🌴🌺✨). by @bodybyleslie

Chris bringing her to the party after my classes, calling me on the way to say he put pink bows in her hair.📲🥹😭🎀🎀🌹🌹🌹 by @bodybyleslie

Happy birthday dad! I miss you all day, everyday, but thank you god that I can also feel it in my soul that you’re with me and you’re watching over Genesis, and our family. It’s been 72 days since you left this earth, and I don’t know when I’m gonna stop counting the days without you, but I do know that I will love you forever and I’d give anything to kiss you, and talk to you, and go to Hawaii with you, and dance with you again.

Losing you, dad, is the biggest heartbreak I’ve ever known, and losing your dad is not a club anyone wants to be in. But when your dad instilled that much strength, resilience, faith, and love in you… you realize he never really leaves. He lives on in the way you show up for your family, your life, and the people you love.

This morning has been filled with so many things, we are living such a big life that I know you’d be so proud of me for on your birthday: Pilates, taking Genesis to Tutu class and then on a beautiful hike, a breakfast celebration of you at More Than Waffles with the family, and Rummikub (you’ll always be the master player).

Happy birthday forever. 🤍 by @bodybyleslie
