Finally got my first DEXA scan at @bodyspec. I’ve been working hard in the gym, and I wanted to see what’s actually going on with my body beyond the number on the scale. Muscle, body fat, bone density… ALL of it.

So y’all know that I’ve spent the past 3 months working with a certified fitness coach and dietician. We focused on building lean muscle and developing a sustainable fitness routine. Now I’m finally ready to focus on fat loss.

But before starting the cut, I headed to @bodyspec for a DEXA scan to get a detailed look at my body composition and establish my baseline. #ad

I’ve already learned that progress isn’t always reflected by the number on the scale. I lost ~10 lbs during my 3-month build phase while eating around 2,400 calories/day so now that I would be on a deficit (eating about 1900 calories daily), I’m really excited to see how my body changes.

12 weeks from now, I’ll be doing the scan again… I can’t wait to see the difference. 👀
