You’ve seen my wedding photos and heard about my Diet Coke obsession, but here’s the real question: am I Alex Bogaev the First or Alex Bogaev the Second? Hint: I’m the blonde with a passion for hot pink and all things laser engraved. And yes, my husband and I are both named Alex Bogaev! Here’s a bit about me, the Alex Bogaev behind Bogaev Design House. I earned my undergraduate and master’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering from Georgia Tech and now work as a mechanical design engineer. I met my favorite Alex Bogaev while we were both completing our graduate degrees in Mechanical Engineering. In college, I spent my free time in the campus machine shop, creating fun projects like a fully functional metal Rubik's Cube for my husband and custom cutting boards for friends and family. I also taught myself Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop during this time which I now use for my creations on a daily basis. I found so much joy in curating my own invitation suite and wedding signage that I just couldn't stop after walking down the aisle myself.
