sky daddy: the immersive experience. i read this while flying & ooof it kinda wrecked me? i did not expect it to be so heartwarming w/ the tale of female friendship. this was a 5 star read for me, i loved all of its weirdness sm! :’) blurb: “Linda knows that she can’t tell anyone she’s sexually obsessed with planes” that’s all you need to know b4 reading. TW: if you have magical thinking OCD this is not the book for you. by @bogdaddyreads

eeeeee burn!!! i have been thinking about this review for a minute bc i didn’t quite know how i felt.. I love the kindreds curse series, but i was really frustrated with diem (girl get up!! this is the end i thought we would’ve seen more growth from her earlier on) i also wanted more of a redemption arc for henri! i was very prepared to be a stan, and i don’t know if that delivered as hard as i was imagining i think book three (Heat) was my fav in the series: the traveling between all the realms felt very LOTR and was soo fun to read! but overall, i did i love being back in this world and enjoyed the book! :)) & i will forever lovee Penn & zaddy Lutherrr <3 by @bogdaddyreads

thank you @prhaudio for the ALC of The Haunted Librarian! ★★★★ (out Oct 6th!) this book feels like when you first notice the air is crispy & fall is here! it’s so cozy and i lovvvved our side characters, especially the spooky one who likes to explode into a cloud of spiders 🕷️🕸️ if you’re looking for a fall read that feels like a warm hug with all of the best spooky vibes (& laughs) - this one is for you!! ++ the audiobook is phenomenal, i 10/10 would recommend :)) #prhaudiopartner blurb: “A lonely librarian finds love, friends, and a few ghosts between the shelves in this cozy, paranormal tale from beloved bestselling author Auralee Wallace. It’s a dark and stormy night...and Amelia Bates is caught in the rain. Life hasn’t always been kind to her, and being a ghostseer certainly doesn’t make things any easier. Glowing warmly through the autumnal downpour is her safest the library. Amelia, the newly hired librarian, has always relished the comfort of curling up with a novel, vastly preferring it to the company of humans (alive or ghostly). But Amelia is shocked to discover the building is full of more than quiet stories and warm cups of tea. There are curious, talkative patrons, a shy, bespectacled head librarian who makes her heart skip a beat, and three quirky spirits causing paranormal havoc that endangers the future of the library. To help the ghosts and save the building, Amelia will have to gather all her bravery and wits, because learning to trust others might just be the first step to a happily ever after she only thought was possible in books.” by @bogdaddyreads

Carrying 🎧 #prhaudiopartner calling all weird girls: this one’s for you!!!! this was insane & such a good horror debut! Carrying (out Oct 6th!) is one of those books that you make all of your friends read and then debrief in great detail bc wtf just happened?? our fmc, martha, had me STRESSED at **all times and delivered some of the best one liners💅🏼 rotting meat, gas pumps 🫨, and a dumpster diving housewife oh my! tysm @prhaudio for the ALC!! blurb: “She’s serving. She’s eating. She’s ... Carrying. In this electrifying horror debut that’s equal parts funny and harrowing, a stealth trans woman desperate to maintain her picture-perfect life discovers that she’s seemingly-impossibly-pregnant. Everything Martha’s wanted, she’s made for herself. Meet Martha: perfect wife, perfect stepmother, perfect woman. She’s got an adoring husband who wants more kids with her, a loving stepdaughter who looks up to her, and a body to die for. She’s an absolute pro: Salon-quality blowouts at home? Done. Perfectly plated meals on the table every day? Effortless. Meticulously faked miscarriages so her husband won’t suspect the truth? Just hand over the Oscar now. Martha is trans, so stealth even her family has no idea. She carved the woman she is out of the marble of a boy, and she’ll do whatever it takes to protect what she’s built. When a mysterious chronic illness and its debilitating symptoms threaten to upend her existence, she starts experimental treatments and gives in to her surprising, unsettling cravings. She’s even more shocked to discover that she’s undeniably, impossibly pregnant. With her body changing rapidly outside of her control and her choices dwindling, Martha struggles to maintain the life she’s fought so hard to live while preparing for the motherhood she never thought she’d have.” by @bogdaddyreads
