We will be holding a vigil in Anderson Park at Union Street and Anderson Street to recognize and remember the people stolen from our communities and terrorized by fascist ICE forces. We will be fundraising for The Mutual Aid Group of NJ, who provide direct financial support to the families of people who have been taken from Hackensack by ICE. Please come and share your story, listen to others, remember in solace, or give a donation to help support families missing a family member. https://account.venmo.com/u/MutualAidCollectiveNJ

Come join Bogota Community Defense as we organize the Hackensack community to defend against the damage ICE is doing. One of the despicable tactics ICE is using is to target parents dropping off their kids at school. So how do we respond? We'll be talking with residents who live near schools to try and organize School Defense Watchers: people who will watch school dropoff and pickup to make sure ICE does not abduct families in transit with their children. Training will be provided through zoom before the event. Please RSVP if you plan on coming. Parking may be difficult so give yourself time find a spot and walk to the meeting location. The organizers will have clipboards and a sign that says "Block Walk".
