look 6:the whore meets the end in smithereens

the soil in which the angel was born from as a gift from above is beckons the angel to return. the body decomposes back into an empathetic nothing hoping one day to be one with meaning again. the townspeople find themselves in the same ruins as before.

look 5: the godly rotten whore

the angel is now a body of blame and ill from slow deterioration. when all is taken and a creature that is othered, the only meaningful currency is the flesh. in small moments the angel reminisces of the love received clinging on to the former self.

🦷chantilly lace coffee dyed/stained 1920s drop waist dress with couture work of each little chantilly flower motif hand cut then dyed at different degrees of dipping into coffee and hand stitched onto the neck line. as well waist band and hem hand cut, dyed, and replaced on to dress to create drop waist illusion. complete with a deadstock glass charm

🦷abstracted wing with teeth cuff made of copper and brass. all hand sawed, textured, and finished with ball riveted. made to mimic movement with wings and teeth pieces that move & dangle

the collectively lost goddess

look 2: in which the goddess begins to become lost in chaotic surroundings. using the wick of her candle to guide, in the darkness the ruins morph and crack as the townspeople begin to worship

sweet baby prometheus
the prometheus bag from my thesis ! an organza shell filled with scraps from my thesis collection to save waste. i kept dreaming last semester with having a potential sacrificial lamb bag/stuffed animal to be carried by my cult leader angel. so then my sweet creature was born based off of my wolf doberman girl even though i wouldn’t describe him as a wolf or a dog. he’s just sweet prometheus. his lined pocket is only big enough to fit a lipstick, a rock, or maybe a pocket knife. choose wisely. by @bogwitchbogwitch

all adorned with 3D printed piercings i developed in autodesk fusion
from a collection based in the concepts of weaving in our insecurities (& personally mine) which are the defining factors that make us intrinsically beautiful. natural features & body modifications like piercings & tattoos that are defined as unprofessional, vulgar, or make us stand out in a negative way just make us more beautiful. to find oneself’s “ugly” features “beautiful”
