The moment his paws touch the snow, a switch flips in Bounty’s brain.

Connection to server (me): Lost.
Ears? Now purely for aerodynamics.
Obedience module? Error 404. 🤖

So, while he’s busy breaking land speed records and unleashing his best zoomies, I am slowly but surely transforming into a hyper-realistic ice sculpture. 🥶

If you’re looking for me: I’m the deep-frozen human at the edge of the field, vainly trying to recall a fluffy blur.

I’ve decided to stop moving. Conserves energy. I’ll just wait here until his turbo mode burns out and hope he drags me—his new decorative icicle—back home.

🇩🇪 Betreff: Bounty.exe reagiert nicht mehr ❄️🚫

Sobald die Pfoten Schnee berühren, wird bei Bounty im Gehirn ein Schalter umgelegt.

Verbindung zum Server (mir) unterbrochen.
Ohren? Dienen nur noch der Aerodynamik. Kommando-Verständnis? Error 404. 🤖

Während er also gerade den Geschwindigkeitsrekord für bodennahe Raketen bricht und seine besten Zoomies auspackt, verwandle ich mich langsam aber sicher in eine hyper-realistische Eisskulptur. 🥶

Wenn ihr mich sucht: Ich bin die tiefgefrorene am Feldrand, die vergeblich versucht, einen flauschigen Blitz zu rufen.

Ich habe beschlossen, mich nicht mehr zu bewegen. Das spart Energie. Ich warte jetzt einfach, bis sein Turbo-Modus ausgebrannt ist, und hoffe, dass er mich dann als dekorativen Eiszapfen mit nach Hause schleift.

We got back from vacation yesterday, but we are refusing to accept reality just yet.

The family council has decided: We’re just going to follow Bounty’s lead. Close our eyes, put on a big grin, and pretend this is all just one giant adventure playground.

If anyone is looking for me: I’ll be lying under a pine tree, laughing and waiting for spring! 🌲🤪

Wir sind seit gestern aus dem Urlaub zurück, aber wir akzeptieren diese Realität noch nicht.

⤜Not all who wander are lost, some are just looking for the perfect stick⤏

🇬🇧 I hope you all survived Christmas! 🤣 We’ve gone on vacation to escape the New Year’s madness. Even though Bounty is actually fine with fireworks, I don’t want to take any chances.

The reason for this goes back to my childhood: Our first family dog, Lucky, was terrified of New Year's Eve. I remember exactly how I used to crawl under the bench with her at midnight to hide under a blanket. I’ll never forget her grateful eyes—she knew she wasn’t alone, even though her fear was huge.

Those memories really stayed with me. No animal should have to suffer on New Year’s Eve, so we are taking it easy today.

How about you guys? Are your dogs afraid of fireworks?

🇩🇪 Hoffentlich habt ihr die Weihnachtstage gut überstanden! 🤣 Wir haben uns inzwischen in den Urlaub verabschiedet, um dem Silvester-Trubel zu entfliehen. Bounty ist zwar eigentlich entspannt bei Feuerwerk, aber ich möchte es gar nicht erst darauf ankommen lassen.

Der Grund dafür liegt in meiner Kindheit: Unser erster Familienhund Lucky hatte an Silvester panische Angst. Ich weiß noch genau, wie ich um Mitternacht zu ihr unter die Eckbank gekrabbelt bin, um uns unter einer Decke zu verstecken. Ich werde nie ihre dankbaren Augen vergessen – sie wusste, dass sie nicht allein ist, auch wenn ihre Angst riesig war.

Diese Bilder haben mich geprägt. Kein Tier sollte an Silvester leiden müssen, deshalb lassen wir es heute ganz ruhig angehen.

🇬🇧 The forest is so quiet today, just the way I like it. Suddenly, the trees shook off their white coats and sprinkled a little magic down on me! I tried to catch the perfect flake on my tongue. It tickles a little and tastes like cold clouds. I don’t mind the chilly paws when the world looks this beautiful.

Ich habe versucht, die perfekte Flocke mit meiner Zunge zu fangen. Es kitzelt ein bisschen und schmeckt nach kalten Wolken.
