happy to share that my artist book Alpha Men’s Amazon Wishlist has recently been acquired by the Centre Pompidou collection, made possible by @vincentsimondeneoboris and @parisassbookfair 🤍

a reprint is now available from @cahiercentral in Paris, soon at @printedmatterinc in New York City, with a small number of copies also available directly from me.

Alpha Men’s Amazon Wishlist consists of appropriated images from male homosexual financial domination online communities and wishlists of “cash masters” on Amazon. The book is bound with supa-clips and employs the French-fold technique on each page, hiding explanatory texts and explicit images that users draw on to construct an online masculine alter ego. The items, ranging from gold rings to stain removers, from toilet paper to ergonomic chairs, are banal, varied, and charged, revealing multiple facets of desire and performative tropes. by @boihugo
