An old age home visit leaves you with emotions words cannot express. Seeing parents spend their final years feeling forgotten is heartbreaking. No matter what life brings, no one should ever abandon their parents. They gave us a lifetime of love and care; they deserve the same in their old age. ❤️ @anshiiihehe @rehaminda @_bhoomigarg #pearlacademydelhi @tunejonakahaa20

THE WATERS OF BAHUCHAR 🌊⚔️

Some stories are not merely told — they are carried through generations, through folklore, faith, identity and the courage to exist as one truly is.

The Waters of Bahuchar is a deeply meaningful journey into a Gujarati folk narrative, bringing forward a story of trans identity, resilience, mentorship, courage and self-discovery. Rooted in the cultural landscape of India, the film asks us to look beyond labels and see the person, the struggle and the humanity within.

At a time when conversations around trans rights and LGBTQI+ rights are more important than ever, stories like these remind us that queer and trans lives are not new stories — they have always been part of the rich and complex cultural fabric of India.

This is a story of belonging, dignity and the right to live authentically.
A story from our folklore. A story from our soil.
A story that deserves to be heard. ❤️

The Waters of Bahuchar
A Gujarati folk story with a contemporary voice.
