Fridays with the Club KT crew ☀️

There’s something special about Walk Run Club in springtime, especially now that the sun is rising earlier!

Michael from @bokeh_social is back doing what he does best, and our new Friday coffee spot at @freddies.place_ Newstead is the perfect addition, offering beautiful park views and a convenient spot to catch up after our walk or run 👌🏼

DETAILS

• Complete a 45 minute course, turning around at the 22.5 minute mark so we can finish together
• Routes alternate monthly between New Farm and Portside
• Cool down and catch up over coffee at @freddies.place_

LOCATION
• Newstead Waterfront Park - 47 Skyring Terrace, Newstead
• Meet by the ponds near the Skyring Terrace entrance
• Post walk/run coffee at Freddie’s Place - 60 Skyring Terrace, Newstead

WHEN
• Every Friday at 5:15am for a 5:30am start

Happy Birthday to the very special Katie!! 🎂🎈

Thank you for being your genuine self and for the wonderful friendship and kindness you’ve shared with me over the years we’ve known each other. It’s well known, but not a day goes by unnoticed by me that I appreciate the creative freedom you allow me to capture many happy and candid moments of yourself and the Club KT community.

You deserve all the success and opportunities that come your way.
I trust you had a wonderful day celebrating all things you! 🥳

Please enjoy some moments of us together over the years, accompanied by some of my favourite memories of you running and sharing joy with those lucky enough to know you 🙌🏼

A special collection of Club KT memories, beautifully captured by @bokeh_social over the years✨

I asked @michael_rrogers to choose some of his favourites for the slideshow at our 5-year celebration dinner, and what a wonderful trip down memory lane it was!

How lucky are we to have so many special moments to look back on? 🤍

🌿 Behind the Scenes: Photo Day 🌿

We had the pleasure of working with @bokeh_social again to capture some new photos around the clinic.

Here’s a little behind-the-scenes peek at the day.

There was plenty of laughter, a few very sore cheeks from smiling for photos, and lots of fun along the way. Most importantly, we wanted to capture the calm and welcoming energy we share in this space.

A big thank you to BOKEH for helping us bring the vision to life!

2 Years of @felonsbrewingco x @club_kt Run Club

Some came for the free beer and stayed for something much bigger; connection, community, and chasing PBs before PUB.

The OGs will remember the New Farm Riverwalk days! We outgrew that route and now make the Botanical Gardens our turning point. It’s been incredible to watch this community grow.

Communities only flourish with people who pour into it, and no one does that more than Katie. Your ability to make everyone feel seen, included and supported is the reason so many of us keep coming back. Thank you for creating a community that’s about so much more than running.

There’s also some regular volunteers who keep the run club on track (and off the cycle path!). Marshalling became a new addition when the group became too large to let roam alone, and I have a lot of fun with the regulars each week.

Congratulations Katie and Felons on two amazing years! Cheers 🍻
