One thing I’ve learnt through our 11+ journey is that it really isn’t one size fits all.

We all want the best opportunities for our children, but the 11+ and grammar school might not be the right path for every child.

Children learn differently, and sometimes the best environment for them is the one that matches how they learn and where they can actually thrive.

Thank you so much to everyone who wished me a happy birthday yesterday. Every message, call, post and kind word genuinely made my day. 🤍

Birthdays don’t always come with the excitement we imagine they should, and I’ve learnt that sometimes I have to be intentional about creating that joy for myself.

So I’m learning to celebrate myself, appreciate another year of life and find reasons to enjoy the day, regardless of how I feel going into it.

And yesterday, your messages made that a whole lot easier. I felt so loved and celebrated, and I’m genuinely grateful for every single one.
