Having had to cancel last year due to an ambush by trail bandits, we are excited to welcome Roger Doyle back this year!

Often called the Godfather of Irish Electronica, and for good reason. For over fifty years, he has been creating music that moves between orchestral works, minimalist piano, experimental soundscapes and groundbreaking electroacoustic pieces.

A true pioneer of Ireland’s avant-garde, Doyle’s work is immersive, cinematic and always pushing at the edges of what music can be. From his early experimental albums to large-scale projects like Babel and Heresy, as well with his work with Operating Theatre, his sound worlds are as daring as they are distinctive.

Katie Kim has spent well over a decade carving out her own renowned corner of Irish music that is fiercely original and hard to pin down.

A key figure in Ireland’s underground scene and one part of the formidable ØXN, her music can balance fragile songwriting with huge soundscapes, layers of synthesis, bass tones, drones and strings; building slowly from intimate moments into something much bigger. She’s said herself she doesn’t really think of the music as “dark”; there’s as much light in there as there is shadow... and we can't wait to see those shadows dance off the vaulted ceilings of The Green Church.

And she’s not riding in alone.

For this one, Katies band will be made up of Eleanor Myler, ØXN bandmate and drummer/vocalist with Percolator, alongside Elaine Malone of POT-POT, whose solo work brings post-punk bite, grunge and plenty of sonic weirdness to the altar.

Pull up a pew. Keep the head down. The music is coming for you.

For the first time ever, Åsa Söderqvist, the woman behind one of Scandinavia’s most gloriously unruly exports is bringing ShitKid to Irish soil as part of the project’s 10-year jubilee tour.

Since 2016, ShitKid has been making a beautiful mess of the lines between lo-fi, punk, pop and pure weirdness. Catchy as hell, rough around the edges and never particularly interested in what anybody thinks.

After five years away, ShitKid is back on the road, celebrating ten years of songs, chaos and questionable decisions, with new compilations The Essential Vol. 1 & 2 rounding up the damage.

Expect raw guitars, filthy hooks and a repertoire packed with scrappy punk, fuzzed-out riffs and pure Swedish attitude.

Ireland, you’ve been warned.

THE KING OF KEYBOARD IS COMING.

From the Syrian Jazeera to the stages of the world, Rizan Said has spent decades bending the rules of the keyboard until one instrument sounds like an entire wedding band at full tilt.

Born in Ras Al Ain, northeastern Syria, Said became a defining force in Syrian and Kurdish dabke, programming his Korg to sound like zurna, saz, tanbura and buzuq, then pushing those sounds to breakneck horsepower.

For more than two decades, he was the musical architect behind Omar Souleyman, helping create the wild, euphoric sound that took Syrian dabke from wedding parties to dancefloors around the world.

But Said is a force all of his own.

Rowdy keyboards. Heavy rhythms. Maximum velocity.

This isn't background music. This is dabke from the final frontier. Joyful, relentless and built to get the room moving.

Branwen Kavanagh is a singer, musician, composer, performance artist and puppeteer from the West of Ireland, creating surreal and potent worlds inspired by folklore, Dada, poetry and theatre.

Their haunting, poetic music crosses into bizarre and magical territory, blending storytelling, puppetry, crankies, unusual instruments and absurd humour into a live experience unlike anything else.

An award-nominated artist, Branwen has performed at Other Voices, The National Concert Hall, Glastonbury, RTÉ and BBC, and tours internationally. They are also one of the songwriters behind Twin Headed Wolf and Rufous Nightjar.

If you have not experienced Branwen live, we can't think of any better setting than the Green Church on Friday night. We will have staff on hand to lift jaws up from the floor.

Friday night, St. Nicholas’s Church will host a sermon like no other.

@one.leg.one.eye brings together Ian Lynch of Lankum and George Brennan of BB84, Melodica Deathship, Cholera House & Deep Burial. Together, they explore the darker, stranger edges of Irish folk, where ancient songs, myth, drone and noise collide.

Expect uilleann pipes, drones, field recordings, heavy sub-bass and sounds that seem to rise from somewhere beneath the floorboards or encroach from the graveyard just outside the doors. This will be a moment etched into your memory forever.

First additional act announcement.

@robocobraquartet have just announced 'Hundred Pieces', a five-hour, 100-track record inspired by durational art and built entirely on their own terms. The first taste, ‘Haha’, landed yesterday.

The Belfast based experimental six-headed beast is on its way to The Spirirt Store, and this one is going to be different. One of Ireland’s most unpredictable live bands. In The Store. In the round.

No stage wall. No hiding at the back. We’re putting Robocobra right in the middle of the room and letting the sound come at you from every angle.
