You no dey hear Igbo ke😏 "I no Sabi speak Igbo" 😏😒

You do not know the power of mother tongue! Please there's no hype in one NOT knowing how to speak their Mother tongue. Me personally I love it when people speak their language, even though I don't understand it. Your mother tongue is deeply connected to your culture, tradition and HERITAGE. So you MUST preserve it.

Wait fess, Onye Igbo--- you do not understand or speak Igbo? So what language do you interact with your people? English? You mean you no dey Taya to the speak English all the time? Mehn... speak your language too ṅa.. Preserve your own language too ṅa.. Pass your own Igbo Language down to the younger ones ṅa.. Ṅa your language, you have no choice than to protect it at all cost! No dey fall hand na. Protect the culture.

Many Igbo parents too are not helping matters at all. but wait, what's the purpose of you denying that child his/her mother tongue? E no just make sense, think about it. Sadly there's plenty Erica out there and majority is Igbo people. See, I have NEVER seen a Yoruba or Hausa person born and raised anywhere in Nigeria that doesn't speak or understand their language. It's always the Igbo people and it really calls for concern. 😔

You can be bilingual or multilingual, it's okay to speak the best English even more than the owners. But, remember you have your own language to protect too.

Speak the language, write the language and most importantly PASS IT DOWN. distance or geographical location is NEVER a barrier.

NB: Your mother tongue is a vital part of your identity and can be a powerful tool for self-expression. 👌
