Day Trip Idea - PERTH ! 🚂 Step aboard the Hotham Valley Railway and journey through the stunning Jarrah forest on a heritage train that feels like stepping back in time. 🌿💚 Things to know before you go: 🎟️ Adult tickets start from around $39 (children from $19.50) depending on the service and booking date. Check the latest fares before booking. 📅 Book early! Weekend trains often sell out weeks in advance, especially during school holidays and steam train season. 🚂 Most Forest Train and Steam Ranger journeys are approximately 2 hours. ⏰ Arrive at least 30 minutes before departure (45 minutes is recommended for larger groups as seating isn’t allocated). 📍 All services depart from Dwellingup, just over an hour south of Perth. ☕ Bring some cash if you’re taking the Forest Train—refreshments at Etmilyn Station are cash-only due to limited reception. 🐶 Bonus: The Forest Train is pet-friendly! ✨ Whether you’re travelling with kids, planning a romantic date, or simply craving a nostalgic escape into nature, this experience deserves a spot on your WA bucket list.
