The recent report by @outrightintl “ Breaking Point” highlighted how the funding landscape has continued to evolve since the 2025 Trump cuts on U.S foreign aid. A space that was already severely underfunded is now being pushed to the wall even harder.

Even more shocking is how corporations and philanthropic organizations have also shifted and quietly withdrawn their support. The report shows that LGBTQ+ organizations have continued to resist, adapt and support communities with the little they have however more support is needed.

Let’s highlight organizations and donor groups in the comments doing amazing work. Visibility is so important right now!

Let’s talk about the power of reclamation for a minute!

First it started with word like “ Queer” being used as a pejorative slur again the LGBTQ+ community. Then came songs and spaces that were build to exclude our community.

What we have seen over time is how our community has managed to build its own spaces and use the same words and songs to reclaim and assert our global dominance.

We are the chosen ones! We hope this posts reminds you of your power ✨
