A touch of nostalgia lingers here—Boldt Castle, the Louise at the dock, and a moment that time chose not to forget.

The Louise was a combination steam and sailing yacht built by the Herreshoff Manufacturing Company in Rhode Island in 1893. Measuring 102 feet long with a 14-foot beam, she was a familiar sight in the Thousand Islands. It was aboard the Louise that Thousand Island dressing was first created. by @boldtcastle
