Oregon 70.3 took it out of me a little bit… I was hoping for a faster bike split and a faster run split… but honestly, the wind sort of took it out of me on this race… it continuously climbed up and up and up… so we got a smaller tail wind on the way out and a larger head wind coming back… but it was also a PR for me… so nothing but good vibes here…. Back to the drawing board… I think I can take some more minutes off in this next training block for sure: by @boldtriguy

Heading out to Oregon 70.3 stuck at the airport… making reels of all the awesome footage I got from me and my friends this training cycle! So this one’s for you guys!

Although this is an individual race… I assure you, I’m taking a little piece of all of you with me. I have Chad’s old Helmet… I have Jan and Arturo’s Tri suit… I’m going to swim like Chad, Moses and Katie taught me, I’m carrying MASSIVE power in my quads from climbing up to deer creek every weekend with Renee, I’ll be descending like I’m trying to catch Natalie and singing Taylor Swift songs, I’m going to attack the hills like Jeff is pretending to run me off the road to give the girls a head start, Every time I see someone from team zoot I’ll be thinking… what would Keith want me to do right now… although we already know the answer, when I get to Mile 10 on the run and have only a few miles left, Nick lam is going to pop out behind a tree somewhere and convince me to run harder, and I’m not going to stop until I see the Gu or the Finish line… That’s the plan… by @boldtriguy

Once in a while… you got to put all other priorities for something fun… I decided to paint the Diamondback Andean as Lightning McQueen … most aerodynamic bike in the world

Paint job by : @buddyhdesign
Special thanks to @resedabikes for putting it back together for me :-)

Used @hedwheels for the disc and @stiffi_bike for the bi-spoke in the front

@diamondbackbike should really bring this bike back into their line up.
