This is the look of a man I prayed for.

I just saw Wade’s reaction in these photos for the first time… and wow, my heart is melted. I am beyond thankful for my Wado—the man he is, the husband he is, and the father he will one day be.

Here’s what I’ve learned:

Marry the man who chooses to grow with you, not against you.

Marry the man who doesn’t just give you “fairytale love,” but shows you real love daily.

Marry the man who challenges you to be your best, while loving you just as you are.

Marry the man who speaks truth even when it’s hard, because he wants to see you thrive.

Marry the man who will admit when both of you need to change, and face it together.

And don’t forget…

Marry the man who will sit on the bathroom floor just to be near you when you’re breaking.

Marry the man who holds you through your lowest moments.

Marry the man who doesn’t try to “fix” you, but gently helps you heal.

Marry the man who loves you boldly, even in front of everyone else.

Marry the man who knew you were “the one” and wasn’t afraid to say it.

Marry the man who longs to lead your family with faith.

Marry the man. Not the boy.

Every day, we get closer to meeting our little Elijah!!🩵
This village!!!!! We are so very blessed to be surrounded by people who love and cherish him already.
