my imperfections make me better ❤️‍🩹

while co-writing IMPERFECT, I discovered a new-found love for my imperfect self. everytime I’ve doubted myself, I always realize the same thing at the end — that I never should have. I’ve been on a journey to turn those doubts into reasons, as well as a challenge to myself to forge a path forward. I might not always have the self assurance at the beginning, but I’m learning to believe in myself. perfectly imperfect.

join Xonara and I on our imperfect movement ✨
take a picture letting us know what imperfection makes you perfect and tag @rubyibarra and @officialxonara

tag a friend who sees the perfect you and bring this movement forward 🫂

always an honor to be back at @thefordla! 2 years ago was my last time performing at The Ford at 37 weeks pregnant, which I initially thought would be my last performance for awhile. definitely grateful for the blessings to be able to continue to do this. it was just as special this time being with my @beatrockmusic family. thank you los angeles for rockin’ with us (and everyone who drove in/flew from all over!). y’all SOLD OUT The Ford!

thank you @kcb4eleven @akbmedia.presents @sheppi.soluna, my entire BRM fam, @et_iv, @carlangelomusic, and of course, my ultimate lodi, mentor, and big brother — @bambudepistola: I love you and I’m so very proud of you!!! 👊🏼 the people want an Izzy EP.

catch me next at the FAHM events throughout this month and ofc my EOTY show on 11/19 at the @bottomofthehillsf

IMPERFECT by XONARA out now
written by Ruby Ibarra, Ashley Mehta, XONARA
produced by LASI
bolo music group a&r: Gino Lucas

stream IMPERFECT: https://xonara.lnk.to/imperfect

the first collaboration between Bolo Music Group and 1Z Entertainment

@rubyibarra: “I wanted to do this song with XONARA because I think about the type of music my daughter will grow up listening to and it’s going to be groups like XONARA who she’ll gravitate towards. She already loves Ppop! Because of this, I knew the song we make together has to have an important message about loving herself; the very same topics that I will have conversations with her about, but I know can go deeper with music. Just like how the Spice Girls and Destiny’s Child empowered me when I was young, I’m excited to see XONARA do the same 🌱”

@lasi_musik: “Producing a track for a girl group has always been a dream of mine. I wanted to lay a sonic foundation for these seven incredibly fearless young women who encourage self-acceptance. Working with a homegrown p-pop group is everything I could have dreamed of for my first ever record in the PH. XONARA is the future!“

@ashleymehta: “being a part of ‘imperfect’ was so important to me not only because i got to support such beautiful artists, but because this song feels like something everyone needs to hear. your light is always shining and our imperfections make us who we are ❤️ it’s been so special & i’m honored to be a part of this.”
