Domenica 27 Settembre al Cassero ci sarà The Disco Fever Ballroom night, by @boloroom_ : scopriamo di più su questo progetto curato da @chaosssavage e @volka_savage 🪩
 Boloroom è un progetto che nasce nel 2024 da Chaos & Volka, ispiratə dalla precedente esperienza di KikiBolo (2021-2024). È un evento che porta la cultura Ballroom dentro e fuori la cittadina bolognese, attraversandone spazi e luoghi, cercando di creare un momento safer, queer* e accessibile a chiunque sia capace di rispettarlo come tale.

Non si tratta, perciò, di vere e proprie Ball, bensì di eventi che ne ripropongono fedelmente le dinamiche (categorie, temi, giudici, commentator, Dj...), dando spazio alle persone della comunità di divertirsi e allenarsi, permettendo altrosì a chi vuole, di scoprire e approcciarsi a questa cultura. La cultura ballroom nasce negli anni 70 a New York da donne trans* nere e latine, sulla base delle necessità del tempo di una comunità black-queer che voleva emanciparsi e riscattarsi. Creare un momento per vivere un sogno, valorizzare la propria identità e il proprio corpo, sentirsi safe, creare una comunità e coltivarla: questa è Ballroom. Con queste premesse, vi aspettiamo per “The Disco Fever Ballroom night”, tuffandoci indietro negli anni ‘80!

BOLOROOM × Miss Alternative: “The Category Is Life” Questo evento nasce dalla collaborazione tra @casserosalute , il team di Miss Alternative e @boloroom_ , con l’obiettivo di creare uno spazio di incontro, condivisione e contaminazione tra diverse generazioni e realtà della comunità LGBTQIA+. Durante la serata abbiamo raccolto fondi a sostegno di @plus_aps e del suo PrEP Point, che da anni promuove la salute sessuale attraverso un approccio peer-to-peer e offre strumenti di prevenzione farmacologica accessibili alla comunità.
