It's been a minute since I introduced myself here. If we haven't yet met, I'm Bolty🖤⚡.

At my core, it's been reflected to me that I am exuberance, zeal, play, heart, power. ✨🤩💃🏼😻🖤🥰

I'm all about transformational work, reinvention, and not letting my circumstances define me.

I've been enjoying nomadic life on the Central Coast of California, savoring all of the sights, scenery, scents, and sensational surroundings this magickal place has to offer.

As of late, I've been learning and unlearning, deconstructing and reconstructing, training, growing, generating, and expanding.

I stand for ✨POSSIBILITY✨, connection, and for designing a life I LOVE despite all of the external challenges and "stuff" that can get in the way.

Some of the ways I've been sharing my gifts with the world lately include:

As many of you may know, I've been saving for my (next) van #TheVanPlan @boltysvanifesto ✨🚐✨

My van will be my travel pod, pet adventure mobile, beach nap relaxation station, mobile office, estate sale & thrifting come-ups storage unit, portable closet (think "Clueless" vibes), healthy snack vending machine, and accessible potty ALL-IN-ONE.

It's going to have this total vampire witch goth b1tch cute clown whimsical burner magick aesthetic, and I can't wait to show you when she arrives.

When you and your doctor are in partnership and working towards you experiencing optimal health and uncovering the true root cause of the disEASE you've been living with and NOT just masking symptoms with more medications that don't address the underlying cause of the problem...

I had been feeling a lot of grief and FOMO not making it to the playa dis year. And I trust that I was guided to exactly where I needed to be.

"This or something better," like @xoamandafrances would say.

An adventure up to the PNW with my love and getting to see friends and family along the way has been medicine for my soul.

I placed my request with the Universe just yesterday and I even mentioned it to my partner and one of my gal pals that I was ready for some lovely pet pawrents/clients who live in cool destination locations (places I'd like to visit) to hire me to care for their pets and homes while they are away on vacay or business.

Today...not even 24 hours later, I walk in to my client's place (their AirBNB for the month) for my doggy daycare gig, and she says to me, "How would you like to come stay at our place in the Bay Area and look after Luna while we go to visit our daughter in Europe in a couple months!?"

I asked if my partner could come with me, and her and her husband said in unison, "OF COURSE! You'll love our house."

I've been SO fortunate to stay in LA and in OC and SD and all around the Central Coast for friends and family and my usual clients to care for their pets, and today was just extra special and *chef's kiss* magickal because I had JUST thought it and said it aloud.

It feels like I unlocked another master code for my most rich, delicious, luxurious life.

I'm reminded that everything is always working out for me, and I'm divinely supported and guided. Always.✨

I'm so grateful.

I can always generate more money, but there's no generating more time.

Once I spend my time, those precious moments have passed and are spent and gone.

And how I spend my time becomes how I spend my life.

This is why time is infinitely more valuable than money.

So I now choose to be intentional with how I spend my time and focus on generating money in a way that requires spending the least amount of my precious time or is something I find enjoyable and would do even if I wasn't getting paid.

I follow this guy Chris Koerner @thekoerneroffice on YouTube (highly recommend if you like being inspired and learning about interesting ways to make money), and I love his tagline, "You can just do things," especially in business.

Like you could get a wild hair and just decide that you will start a business offering a service that utilizes skills that you already have. While yes, there are certain professions and businesses that require permits, licensing, or professional training, there are plenty of opportunities to provide value and solve problems right in front of our noses. We just have to take action and "do the things."

I started all of my businesses first as a way to solve my own problems (accessible/flexible ways to generate $ for myself) and then thinking about things from my ideal clients' perspective and solving the problems that they have by providing a valuable solution for them (e.g. entertaining their kids and creating memorable experiences with my face painting business, helping people feel beautiful and confident in their bodies/skin as a hair stylist/esthetician, providing a fresh, clean home environment for people to live and have more time to spend with their families through my cleaning biz, giving pet pawrents peace of mind when they are away by caring for their pets and their homes, and by helping people transform their relationship to their circumstances so that they can experience more joy, ease, zest, spaciousness, and delight through the coaching conversations that I offer).

The idea of starting a business can feel intimidating. And I believe that we get to "choose our hard," like @codiesanchez would say.

More on this later.

My folks came to visit me recently, and my mum commented in disbelief about how I get to spend my days.

She told me about some of her friends' kids who commute hours each day in traffic to their jobs they don't really love, where they are overworked and underpaid.

They get their two weeks of PTO each year, and that's it.

"Well, I mean, they have to pay the bills," she said. (I don't buy into that belief personally.)

And it hit me that while living with Myasthenia Gravis has limited me in the workload I'm physically able to do (when you're out of spoons, you're out of spoons), I've recently been relating to receiving a diagnosis as a secret blessing.

It pushed me to get creative and be intentional with how I spend my time.

It nudged me in the direction of entrepreneurship and learning how to generate income without being reliant on a job.

It had me re-evaluate my core values and focus on what is truly important to me.

It's taught me to cherish my time and care for my body, mind, and spirit.

It cleared out relationships and friendships that weren't aligned with what I'm up to and where I'm headed.

It had me transform and heal my relationship with money.

And while I don't love how it all happened to me, I do love that it happened FOR ME.

THANK YOU!

I'm so fortunate. I am loved. I am held. I am supported. And I love my rich, delicious, whimsically luxurious, magickal life!
