two of our new tracks from the album - Varje Dag and Många Drömmar - are built on samples from the amazing @aylasomljud which we have been fans of for many years. her sound is pure magic, every melody feels alive, and we couldn’t resist bringing that energy into our own universe.

it’s also our first time we release music in swedish which is really cool and feels different in a way

this is our tribute to her brilliance, blended with our house and reggae roots taken in Stockholm, Sweden by @bomberjak

Our sophomore album Unexpected Habits is out now. Find a music streaming service of your choice and enter the world we call “Unexpected Habits”. Bomberjak wants to thank: @universalmusicsweden @umpg_scand @demarcodadon @linusphotos @mikeseriously and so many more for all of your contributions to this project. Now it’s your time to plug in your headphones and find out where these 10 songs can take you. The album took us 5 years to make and has been with us through ups, downs and every part of this rollercoaster life. This is from us to you.

1. “Better things” is the lead song of the album and it emerged as Johan found and rearranged a guitar sample and got flashbacks from the summer when European pop/house was played all over Scandinavian parties. Together with the melancholic yet hopeful vocal the song depicts the bittersweetness of life. by @bomberjak

2. “Go Go” has shown to be the most successful song on the album thus far. One of the ideas behind the song actually came from a band called crystal castles. Therefore, the name of the project file on our computer is still to this day “crystal castles”. All the voices in Go Go was sung by Johan.

3. ”The Same” is sung by the incredibly talented artist @evrywhr and it is a song that has always been special to us. When the guitar part was established and the groove finally produced, the song felt unstoppable. It took us two years to finish, but we probably could have finished it in two weeks if we weren’t such perfectionists.

4. “All Mine” started out when Emil and Johan were working on two different ideas in the same room and realized they could be combined. Some laughter and excitement followed and soon the instrumental with recorded demo-vocals were done. We sent it to @demarcodadon and when we got his vocals back we realized what a unique reggae-pop song this was turning into. Finally, the song was released on Demarco’s album “Melody” and Bomberjak could see itself share album with artists like Sean Paul, Konshens and Stephen Marley.
