Ava and Wyatt went out for the day and ran into their two friends, Kiko and Todd! All of them wanted a good snack at the end of the day!! I'm slowly but surely working on their comic, and I can't wait to share a little more about them!! :D

Another illustration for the month!! :D watch me disappear again 🗿 I've been working more and more towards making my own comic and writing a script for another project I'm doing!! I'm wanting to make more comics and show more stories!! :D

Wyatt ends up getting a call in the middle of shopping. Who is it other than his best friends, Todd and Kiko? Maybe they make a small shopping list for their snack stash for when they hang out, or maybe they just want to chat! With a bond as close as theirs, the conversation could be about anything!

I have somewhat breached the surface back to show an artwork of some form BAHAHA I wanted to make just the first page as a minicomic and then my brain went, "But... I could add more though" and now I have more of a minicomic!! I have been doing a lot of things behind the scenes as of the moment (some of which consists of these three guys and Ava 👀) so there hasn't been much activity on this page. I realize that as I work more on my things, I would want to only present my best work on here that is for the thing that I want to do! And.. despite my own reluctance, I know I'll have to talk about my plans eventually BUT I WILL SAVE THAT FOR ANOTHER DAY! Because sometimes plans change for better or for worse and we just have to learn how to grow familiar with that.

TYSM FOR 1K+!! 💖💓🫶

GOSH IT'S BEEN A LONG WHILE BUT I STILL CANT BELIEVE THAT WE'VE MADE IT THIS FAR!! It's still really surreal that we hit such a huge milestone and I can't help but be grateful for each and every one of you guys :(🫶 my day ones and my newer folk, thank you immensely!! I look forward to showing more art about my journey, silly comics about my characters and telling you guys more and more about the illustrations and stories that I wish to share!!

Onto the DTIYS, OH MY GOODNESSS!!!!!! THE WAY MY JAW HAD DROPPED FOR EACH OF THESE!!! THANK YOU TO YOU GUYS WHO PARTICIPATED!!! I'm actually giggling right now as we speak after seeing them again 😋 both Ava and Wyatt look so so amazing in you guy's styles holy wow bro :(🫶 I can't help but feel grateful and blessed for you guys!!! With summer rolling around and life happening more and more, I can't help but see this as an opportunity to want to work more towards my goal of sharing my stories into the world!! I'll be doing a slight shift (different but not disparing) with my content! Still minicomics and little shorts about Ava, Wyatt and their little friend group-- but also just some other content about something I'm planning on doing in the future (letting you guys know early for the anticipation ;) ) Again, thank you guys so much for being a part of my journey. I will do my best work to show you guys!!!

Grown Dandelion

An illustration piece of Ava and Wyatt in a field of dandelions and flowers :D Fun fact, Ava's favorite flower is the dandelion! I love drawing these two because they're SO CUTE AGGHHHH oh my shaylas :( I will forever love them in my heart 🫶 I remember listening to this song and I was like "OH MY GOSH I NEED TO DRAW 🤭😋 THEM RIGHT NOW!!" and then I did and one hour into it I was like "Yeah, okay, the urge is out now, time to draw 🗿🥀 again.." HAHAHA thankfully, months later, I picked it up again to finish it off. Oh my shaylas, they could never make me hate you 🫶

Kind of forgot how to do social media for a hot minute 😭 grinding in the shadows but here's a piece that I found sitting in my files and decided to finish it off for Valentine's Day!! :D it went on a little longer than expected but I managed to finish it so it could at least stay in the month of February HAHAHHA

First post for the new year! Had to do a little prompt for a children's illustration portfolio piece and decided to go with a picnic with forest animals!! :D I had to go with my original character Fionah, she's a fairy who's fascinated with the human world and tends to explore a little ways off from the world she's used to! Now, she makes it a habit to visit the animals around the area and bring them goodies of all sorts!!

Hoping everyone is having a great new year! Things are busy but they're productive! 💪 Currently trying to crank out as much illustrations in the next two months 💀🙏 I'll be hiding in the shadows 🗿

As Christmas gets closer, let's remember that Christmas is so much more than presents and gifts! It's the day where we can celebrate that there is hope for the world, someone who can give true peace and true rest! We live in such dark times, so many things happening at one time that have us wanting to not live in peace with Him. Yet God, being so loving, He gave us grace and mercy - His son, Jesus Christ- to be our ultimate savior in all things! I hope that people around the world can find this peace, that people can know what rest really is! There is grace because Christ was sent to be grace and mercy, saving us and providing a way from death.

To be able to use my art as a way to show and give the message of true hope and peace, true joy and life, is already a blessing. I want to work hard to provide stories for anyone to look at, that they may be guided to the true way, truth and life. Thank you to everyone here, praise God for His grace towards me. You guys have no idea how thankful I am, truly 😭🙏 have a happy holidays to everyone, may you all find joy with time spent with family and friends!!

Decided to join in with Ava and a little animatic of her featuring Wyatt TEHEHE Ava's whole story and character fills me with such warmth and joy, she's my baby 🫶😭 Also the fact that Annika WONN DUDEEE!!! Literally an amazing verse to be added into the song 💪 WHEN I FIRST HEARD IT I IMMEDIATELY THOUGHT OF AVA YOU HAVE NO IDEA!

A small note, too!! Ava and Wyatt's story, Familiar Change, will probably be getting an announcement soon! I'm probably gonna start on the first few chapters and finding somewhere to upload them alongside Instagram (because right now Insta is 😭🙏) ! I also have another project coming up as well that's been in the shadows for some time called Of Colors and Clay!! It's a small clay girl who tries to find a cover for a gap in her body! And also a comic about a foolish ruler who eventually learns to be humble, The Ruler of Fools! These three projects are ones that have a literal chokehold on me and I cannot get it out of my head 😭🙏Of course, I have to be a little bit wise in my decisions and choose one to work on before doing the others! I'm honestly leaning to doing heavy production on OCAC behind the scenes than Familiar Change or Ruler of Fools though my Insta will probably show more FC illustrations and mini comics for fun! Of course, man makes his plans and the Lord guides his steps so we'll see if it happens or not 💪 Whichever way I go, I pray it aligns what He wants and it's a step of faith for me!!

Something for the Halloween spirit!! I had an idea of a kid trying to do a harmless prank when it's seconds from going terribly wrong!! Seems like the ghost is wanting to do a prank for himself as well 🤭 Will these kids ever escape from this haunted mansion? I have no idea, that's for people to decide 🤷‍♀️ BUT it's something that's one step closer to having a children's illustration portfolio! Or even just book illustration in general because 🤞 honestly just wanting to do the best I can do 💪😔

The more I look at this piece I can't help but have mixed feelings about this one. There's some good and bad parts to it but I'm still happy with the result of the illustration!! :D

Bedtime Story

Baby Ava being put to bed by her dad! However, before sleeping, she asks the story she asks for her dad one more time; The story her mom and dad met! And like every bedtime, he had already prepared from the already told stories many times ago, he brought out his little show. I absolutely love these two :( my shaylas, I love them dearly. I wanted to go back to the father and daughter relationship that they have, AND THEYRE SO SWEET PLEASE!!!

Also!! I'm slowly, but surely, writing out some stuff to get Ava and Wyatt's comic working!! So far, only 5 chapters written and outlined so far 😭🙏 but we ball- AND ALSO PTHER ILLUSTRATION AND COMIC PROJECTS TOO!! Mostly mini comics so 🤞
I wanted to make it feel a little more like a one page illustration you would see in a chapter book at the beginning or end of a chapter! Hopefully, it achieves that look but I'm still continuing different and fun ways to do book illustration!

Something funny that happened in my life over the past few weeks! Sometimes I end up saying one word when I actually say another 💀 And that ends up getting myself and others confused, which then I backtrack on what I say! Thankfully, everything gets cleared up in the end!

Just some comic and panelling practice!! I also wanted to focus more on the environment around each panel and placing focus on certain panels! I'm also working towards making my illustrations and art more catered to children's illustrations and middle grade since it's something that I would like to do!!! :D I'm hopefully able to track my progress here! Life has been getting busy by the day but I want to be able to continue art despite the circumstances.

Which in all honesty, it's something that I think that I've realized with not only art but my walk with the Lord as well!!! :D That despite the circumstances, I need to WALK in FAITH with the Lord first. That each step is a step of faith and a step of obedience to Him. That no matter the situation, I look to Him for guidance and wisdom. That each decision is a wise decision to His path. And if I want to continue with my art, I need to seek His counsel on pursuing this journey- each step from the result of following His Word and character. I don't know what lies ahead for me, but He does- to which I can trust in His understanding and that He does this for His glory and my good. Let not my own glory but His be shown.
