Man… there was a time I used to play small.
Tryna fit in, quiet my spirit, tone it down for folks who ain’t even know who they was.

But I woke up one day like nah.
I ain’t made to fit in no box. I’m built different.
I’m soft and solid. Chill and chosen.

Now I walk in rooms like I belong there cause I do.
This right here? Ain’t just a pose.
It’s growth. It’s grace. It’s me becoming.

What part of you been waiting to show up?
Drop it below — I’ma hype you up ✨👇🏾 by @bonafiderayven

3 weeks of SWAT school and I can finally say I DID IT! 🥹🖤

When I tell y’all this was one of the hardest things I’ve ever put myself through, I mean that! The early mornings, getting smoked, running miles, getting gassed, being sore every single day 😭😂 It was A LOT!

Week one almost took me out, but by week two I found my rhythm and never looked back. I learned so much about myself throughout this process, and I’m just grateful I got the opportunity to experience it.

I prayed my way through these last three weeks, and God showed up for me every single time. 🙏🏾

Officially SWAT Level I II & III Advanced certified! Proud to represent MARTA PD! 🖤💙

And of course, having my baby and my mommie there to see me finish made it even better. ❤️ taken in Atlanta, GA by @bonafiderayven

Purple Heart | MARTA Police Department

Today, I was awarded the Purple Heart by the MARTA Police Department.

This recognition represents an injury sustained in the line of duty but more than that, it represents resilience, service, and the decision to keep going even after life changes you.

There are moments in this job that test your courage, your faith, and your sense of self. I’ve learned that strength isn’t just about surviving the moment it’s about choosing to heal, to return, and to continue serving with integrity.

I’m grateful for the leadership, coworkers, family, and friends who stood by me through recovery. And most of all, I’m proud of myself for not giving up.

This medal is a reminder that sacrifice is seen, service matters, and perseverance leaves a legacy.
