My younger self is proud that I didn’t give up on us. Odds were definitely stacked against us. Life threw some hectic curveballs.

In some seasons we were completely lost, confused in some, scared in some, broken in some, lost all hope in some, but by God’s grace, I kept going, praying, seeking, asking, and it was in the stillness where I heard God clearly, found healing and experienced joy again.

I now understand the scripture that says, ALL things work together for good for those who love the Lord and are called according to his purpose: Romans 8 vs 28

Our experiences may be difficult but God uses them to orchestrate our growth!

A beautiful day yesterday called for being outside🌸

I’m so grateful for this little life of mine🙏🏾
Usually when we talk about answered prayers, we are mostly referring to visible/tangible things. But right now, I’m living in an answered prayer for things that cannot be seen with a naked eye!

Thank God I remembered ME again!

I’ve been incorporating colour a little more in my wardrobe which is quite a change for me because I used to shy away from it!

In fashion psychology they say it’s not just about clothes and colour but rather an evolving relationship with oneself and the world.

That definitely resonates with me because there’s been a change in how I see myself and the world! by @bonakele_phumo

Now I know that the whole point of going through everything I’ve been through was to get to this place where I have zero doubts about who I am, where I’m head over heels in love with ME!, where I can live and enjoy my life in my own terms, where I don’t have to ask for permission to do the things I’ve always desired to do, where I can put myself out there without an ounce of worry as to who thinks what of me! (It’s actually defiance against the unhealed version of me that used to shrink) See, the thing is, it’s a total waste of your energy to worry about things you can’t control!

So, if you haven’t reached my age yet, and still struggling with some of the above, take it from me, it definitely does get better! All you have to do is to seek after God, trust His plan for your life, breathe, give yourself grace and put one foot in front of the other, ok!🌸 by @bonakele_phumo

Having fun with my clothes by using them differently to avoid unnecessary spending.

Don’t get me wrong I love shopping for new things, but I lean more to being creative with what I already have.

I’ve had both skirts for a long time, the blue one is part of a set from @foschinisa and the floral one is an oldie from @fashionworldstoresa

For this look I pulled out my very old neck pieces I got from @accessorize many moons ago, because chunky beaded accessories are a trend for summer 2026!

NB: don’t be quick to get rid of your good quality stuff from previous seasons, because fashion is cyclical!
