GNOCCHI AL POMODORO

4 portions

Olive oil
Butter
400g gnocchi
2 garlic cloves
400g cherry tomatoes
100ml cream
40g pecorino
250g mozzarella (2 á)
Basil

Put a pan on medium heat with olive oil and a bit of butter and fry the gnocchi until golden.
Put a pot on medium heat with olive oil. Chop the garlic cloves and fry until golden.
Put the cherry tomatoes and cream in the pot and let it simmer until the tomatoes are soft. Stir.
Put the gnocchi in the pot, and stir it around with the pecorino.
Top everything of with mozzarella and basil. Put on low heat and put a lid on the pot and let it sit for a few minutes.

— Dinner date @ Café Constant —

Neighborhood restaurants >>>.

Nothing feels as good as nice drinks, amazinggg starters to share, golden hour, a full belly, and a one minute walk home. I am lucky enough to live right next to @cafe_constant in Scheveningen. A place I’ve been drinking a looot of glasses of cava, and bottles of wine, and a cup of coffee here and there. With it’s retro, yet modern, touch of interior and it’s capability to have a relaxing outdoor serving in a busy street, it’s always with comfort and excitement you sit at one of their tables.

If it is something I wish I could pack and bring up to Amsterdam with me in August, it’s definitely Café Constant. The golden gem of my neighborhood.

Homemade bread, cheese, mixed berry jam, cream cheese, orange juice, strawberry smoothie and a shot of espresso.

Sometimes you just have to listen to the weather to determine what day it is. A week before actual easter, we did a pre-easter brunch in the sun.

Crispy tofu with eggplant baked in chopped tomatoes and soaked in olive oil, and tzatziki on homemade pita bread.

Felt like Russian roulette when we made this recipe. Either it will be very tasty and bomb, or nothing special. And we hit the bullet. Best sunday supper you could ask for.

Just an appreciation post for my all time favorite cake ; daim cake from @almondybakery . Or as I know it most as, ”daimtårta”. Almond cake with salted caramel, covered in chocolate.

— Morning coffee @ Joliu Studio —

The first week in Barcelona, and I made the best decision of my life. I had an early morning in the city and swung by @joliu.studio for a small breakfast. And OH MY GOD. The vibe and style of the place really compliments the delicious coffee and outstanding pastries from @duval_bunsandcoffee . I had their cappucino and the pain au chocolat (probably the best I’ve ever had). And my friend had their hot chocolate and banana bread.

This is a must visit no matter where in Barcelona you are — take a stroll, take a metro, take a TRAIN if so needed. You need to go here.
