SS THISTLEGORM — Red Sea 🇪🇬

Sunk in 1941 during World War II, the SS Thistlegorm now rests beneath the waters of the Red Sea, frozen in time. Inside her holds, motorcycles, trucks, ammunition and military supplies still remain — cargo that never reached its destination.

But this shot has its own story too.

To create the lighting I had in mind, we were one person short to hold another light. So we had to do what we often do underwater: improvise.

We repositioned the lights, searched for the right angle, adjusted everything we could… and used the darkness of the wreck to turn a problem into part of the image.

And this was the result: a diver suspended above the Thistlegorm’s cargo, surrounded by fish, while beams of light cut through more than 80 years of darkness.

Because you don’t always have the perfect setup, the perfect conditions, or all the people you need.

Sometimes you only get one chance.
And that’s where TITOBENCH begins. 💀📸

Una de las partes que más disfruto aparte de explorar la cueva es ver grandes formaciones milenarias, pasajes enormes y una visibilidad increíble que hace que sea diferente a todo.
