It has been almost a week since the two performances of SEHPURPUR came to an end.

When we began our 20th Anniversary Project last October, the end still seemed far away. There were moments when we wondered whether we would truly make it through this long journey, and whether we would be able to bring everything we had planned into being.

And now, we have arrived here.

We are deeply grateful to all the dancers who shared this journey with us, to the staff and collaborators who supported us along the way, and to everyone who came and entered the world of our work with us.

Our special thanks go to everyone at Studio2 and Sammlung Scharf-Gerstenberg, who gave us the opportunity to make this project happen.

SEHPURPUR was our first open-air performance. With a small team and a limited budget, we gave everything we had to the work. We are proud that, together, we were able to create something that reached beyond what we had imagined at the beginning.

A journey has come to an end, but perhaps an ending is also a place from which something else begins.

We do not yet know when we will meet again. But we carry this experience with us as we step into the 21st year of 4RUDE — into a new terrain, and toward whatever is waiting there.

Thank you for being with us.
We hope you will continue to walk with 4RUDE.
